# Armani's Front Row Was Not... Revolutionary

I realize this is not the best advertisement for my own slideshow, but after the first couple looks, Armani made it... kinda boring for its famous guests. And there *were* a lot of famous guests. [Reuters reports](https://www.reuters.com/lifestyle/giorgio-armani-takes-fashionistas-on-journey-ny-fashion-show-2024-10-18/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) that Giorgio Armani moved the show to New York for the most romantic of reasons: "to coincide with the opening of his new building, containing private residences, Armani boutiques and a restaurant on Madison Avenue." And while some of this is nice, a lot of it is dull, like half of them are dressed for an investment pitch over their prime rib.
