If you saw Hamilton the last time it was in L.A., you most likely got her as Angelica. I am intrigued by her blazer, puzzled by her jeans, unconvinced that they belong together, and THRILLED TO SEE HER. ## Daveed Diggs ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/06/shutterstock_editorial_10690629s-1593069779.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Michael Buckner/Variety/Shutterstock (10690629s) Daveed Diggs 'aTypical Wednesday' film premiere, Arrivals, The Montalban Theater Rooftop Cinema, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Jun 2020 Emmy is dating Daveed, or at least I assume she still is, because he came to lend her support. He would ALSO have looked good in her jacket, frankly. ![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2020/06/shutterstock_editorial_10690725z-1593069842.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Broadimage/Shutterstock (10690725z) Emmy Raver-Lampman and Daveed Diggs 'aTypical Wednesday' film premiere, Arrivals, The Montalban Theater Rooftop Cinema, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Jun 2020 Behold them in their cool matching masks. I was hoping they'd post where they got them, but as of this writing, I haven't seen it yet. I'll update if I do. I LOVE that you can tell they're both grinning. ## Tracie Thoms ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/06/shutterstock_editorial_10690629ag-1593069732.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Michael Buckner/Variety/Shutterstock (10690629ag) Tracie Thoms 'aTypical Wednesday' film premiere, Arrivals, The Montalban Theater Rooftop Cinema, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Jun 2020 This is a delightfully breezy summer dress. ## Raquel Horsford and Ahmed Best ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/06/shutterstock_editorial_10690629bm-1593069763.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Michael Buckner/Variety/Shutterstock (10690629bm) Raquel Horsford and Ahmed Best 'aTypical Wednesday' film premiere, Arrivals, The Montalban Theater Rooftop Cinema, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Jun 2020 These two are married; she's an actress, and he is best known for being the voice of Jar Jar Binks. I want to tug up that bodice a little and tuck in his shirt, and it feels so delicious to have dumb nits to pick again. But she is at least in a pattern *and* great lipstick, and I think I see some funky socks there, Ahmed, which pleases me. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/06/shutterstock_editorial_10690713i-1593069800.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Michael Buckner/Variety/Shutterstock (10690713i) Raquel Horsford and Ahmed Best 'aTypical Wednesday' film premiere, Inside, The Montalban Theater Rooftop Cinema, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Jun 2020 More masks! I wonder if they were provided, or if people brought their own. Also her dress looks better from this angle. I still want to tighten the straps, I think? ## Kelen Coleman ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/06/shutterstock_editorial_10690725af-1593069810.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Broadimage/Shutterstock (10690725af) Kelen Coleman 'aTypical Wednesday' film premiere, Arrivals, The Montalban Theater Rooftop Cinema, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Jun 2020 Were you ever so happy to see a jumpsuit, any jumpsuit? (You will think I have lost it, but this top almost seems TOO hoiked.) ## Cedric Yarbrough ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/06/shutterstock_editorial_10690629al-1593069743.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Michael Buckner/Variety/Shutterstock (10690629al) Cedric Yarbrough 'aTypical Wednesday' film premiere, Arrivals, The Montalban Theater Rooftop Cinema, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Jun 2020 Hello good sir! I miss *Speechless*. ## Cooper J. Friedman and J. Lee ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/06/shutterstock_editorial_10690725l-1593069829.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Broadimage/Shutterstock (10690725l) Cooper J. Friedman and J. Lee 'aTypical Wednesday' film premiere, Arrivals, The Montalban Theater Rooftop Cinema, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Jun 2020 J. Lee, in the tartan, is the writer/director/lead, and Cooper is in the film. They both look great. ## Taye Diggs ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/06/shutterstock_editorial_10690725al-1593069818.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Broadimage/Shutterstock (10690725al) Taye Diggs 'aTypical Wednesday' film premiere, Arrivals, The Montalban Theater Rooftop Cinema, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Jun 2020 Taye, on the other hand, looks like he went KonMari wild during Covid and threw out too many of his clothes. I love his Doc boots, at least, but I am sincerely wondering if he came straight from a fishing trip. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/06/shutterstock_editorial_10690629an-1593069753.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Michael Buckner/Variety/Shutterstock (10690629an) J. Lee 'aTypical Wednesday' film premiere, Arrivals, The Montalban Theater Rooftop Cinema, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Jun 2020 They helpfully got shots of the temperature check at the entrance, presumably just to... convey that it happened. I don't know if I understand how helpful they are, given that you can have Covid without a fever or be pre-symptomatic, but I also realize it's one of the few methods of detecting ANYTHING can be cheaply and widely employed and every little bit helps, etc. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/06/shutterstock_editorial_10690713ak-1593069790.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Michael Buckner/Variety/Shutterstock (10690713ak) Atmosphere 'aTypical Wednesday' film premiere, Inside, The Montalban Theater Rooftop Cinema, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Jun 2020 And here is the screening setup on the roof. I love that it appears they're all wearing headsets, so that it wasn't a noise nuisance. It looks like a very pleasant night, and I hope the system works -- honestly, as much as it's bad for business for me to say this, maybe one product of this will be a bit more austerity in terms of the size of these events. You can still bring on the fashion, but maybe 300 people don't need to come to *everything*.
