(Photo by Gotham/GC Images) Of course Adam Sandler is wearing basketball shorts. He has a pair for every occasion (and in fairness this seems like a perfectly fine one for them, ESPECIALLY if a pickup hoops game breaks out in midtown, which seems possible). ## (L-R) Ezra Knight, John Carroll Lynch, Michelle Hurd, Deborah Messing and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/08/GettyImages-1587845283-1691031866.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 02: (L-R) Ezra Knight, John Carroll Lynch, Michelle Hurd, Deborah Messing and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) are seen at the SAG-AFTRA strike in Midtown on August 02, 2023 in New York City. (Photo by Gotham/GC Images) Good for Gillibrand for getting out there. And good for Debra for bringing a large hat. ## Dascha Polanco ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/08/GettyImages-1585586784-1691031912.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 1: Dascha Polanco joins SAG-AFTRA members as SAG-AFTRA and the WGA hold a rally at City Hall on August 1, 2023 in New York City. Members of SAG-AFTRA and WGA (Writers Guild of America) have both walked out in their first joint strike against the studios since 1960\. The strike has shut down a majority of Hollywood productions with writers approaching the third month of their strike against the Hollywood studios. (Photo by John Nacion/Getty Images) We heard from Kimiko Glenn how little the actors on Orange Is The New Black made in residuals, despite that show being a MASSIVE HIT due in large part to its excellent ensemble cast. So of COURSE Dascha is out there. ## Samantha Mathis, Carla Gugino ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/08/GettyImages-1583308264-1691031948.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JULY 31: Samantha Mathis (L) and Carla Gugino a seen at the SAG-AFTRA strike in Greenwich Village on July 31, 2023 in New York City. (Photo by Michael Loccisano/Getty Images) David seems distressed. Me too, David. ## Paul Giamatti ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/08/GettyImages-1583389265-1691031937.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JULY 31: Paul Giamatti joins SAG-AFTRA members as they maintain picket lines across New York City during strike on July 31, 2023 in New York City. (Photo by John Nacion/Getty Images) I was going to make a joke about him being pensive about not being able to make Sideways 2 right now, and then I realized the prospect of Sideways 2 is actually an argument AGAINST settling the strike so let's put that away. ## Virginia Madsen, Nick Holmes ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/08/shutterstock_editorial_14032557ap-1691032239.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Robin Marshall/Shutterstock (14032557ap) Virginia Madsen and Nick Holmes SAG-AFTRA Strike, Los Angeles, California, USA - 02 Aug 2023 SPEAKING OF.
