I guess I don't have to wonder how she sits down in it and stays sanitary, because there is a liner built right over the dress. Or, "dress." I think I have longer t-shirts in my gym-clothes drawer.

Amid everything that's happening here, I can't put away my fear that the skirt just wraps around and Velcros in the front.

I am having to stare WAY too hard at those hotpants to understand them. And paired with the heavy sweater, she just looks like someone who thought she'd be sitting at a desk all day and so didn't bother to get dressed from the waist down.

Seriously, there are shorts, and then there are... would we call these formal micro-shorts? Regardless, her enthusiasm for these ensembles simply leaps off the page. We are drowning in her jubilation.

This is... better. Not great, perhaps? But definitely better, helped by the fact that she isn't glowering at the camera lens like it forced her into a pair of sparkly bandage spankies. However, at the very least, it needs head-styling that doesn't look like she just got off the elliptical and is waiting in line for the leg press. I guess every step forward comes with a backward stumble.

[Australian Fashion Week Fugs and Fines: Phoebe TonkinIf you don't know Phoebe Tonkin, it's because you're not watching The CW -- a network which, as when it was The WB, gets super attached to people and then tries to make them happen. Like Chad Michael Murray back in the day (he did Gilmore Girls and Dawson's Creek before One Tree Hill), or Britt Robertson (Life Unexpected, Secret Circle), Justin Hartley (Smallville, Emily Owens M.D., Hart of Dixie), Willa Holland (Gossip Girl, Arrow), Kristen Kreuk (Smallville and now Beauty and the Beast), and of course Phoebe here, who was on Circle, and then Vampire Diaries, and supposedly its developing spin-off The Originals. (If this means AnnaLynne McCord is going to show up on Hart of Dixie next season... well, actually, she's secretly funny on 90210 so I might not hate it if she got up in Wade's grill. Or even Lavon's.) Anyway: That's the primer on Phoebe Tonkin -- well, that, and the fact that she's Australian yet is constantly forced to put on an American accent, which is mucking up the whole acting thing she's being hired to do. Also, she has questionable taste in clothes, which makes her automatically noteworthy just in case The Originals takes off and suddenly she's attending enough stuff to be in Fug Madness contention.
