Meryl Streep seems to have pulled it together since the Golden Globes. I like the idea that one of her kids called her and was like, "MOM. COME ON," and she was all, "oh, fine, honey, what do *you* want me to wear?" and Mamie Gummer -- who, I'd just like to say, is so freaking funny on *The Good Wife --* was like, "please, can you just call someone to figure this out?" and Meryl is all, "oh, I don't know. I have so much to do otherwise. Also, I'm Meryl Streep," and then Mamie went, "MOM," and then Meryl just laughed and hung up on her. And then pulled it together.
