For me this is a great switch from floaty translucent tulle -- and in fact, she's taken a fairly significant break from that this year, which I appreciate. They are an audible thud dragging down the whole thing. I have to admit, the first person I thought of when I saw this was Lady Victoria Hervey, and if you're not familiar with her from GFY through the ages, that's understandable -- she's basically a British socialite with a penchant for The Sheers, and this is giving a bit of that Eccentric and Semi-Nude vibe. Hervey is also anti-vaxx/QAnon and once, in 2003, suggested that homeless people suffering through winter should try to go spend it in the Caribbean instead, so they can enjoy fresh fish.
