I can't tell if I like this, or I'm so deadened by some of her recent outings (the Globes being an exception that helped prove the rule) that I'm judging diffrently. I don't think it needed the pants -- a plain black one could've preserved the zip without looking QUITE so much like a couch. But it's trying something I don't hate.

Hunter (on the right) is wearing something that reminds me of the first time we encountred Monse, and they'd strapped a floral toilet seat to Jaime "No Relation" King's chest. The pants are a travesty. Joey has worn stuff before with SO much more imagination than this.

These two look nice. They were the best things about Little Women -- some gorgeous shots from Greta, and I thought Saoirse's Jo was super. I was underwhelmed by other parts of it, though -- it rushed through too many important beats (Beth didn't have the impact she should have, and it wasn't Eliza Scanlen's fault), and Florence Pugh's performance felt too modern, and Timotheeeee looked way too 16 the whole time, and WTF was Bob Odenkirk doing at this party?!?, etc. -- but on the whole it's the version I'd be the most likely to turn on if I stumbled across it on HBO, for sure.

I'd have gone short sleeves with that length, OR kept those belled sleeves and made it hit above the knee.
