This is custom, and THANK GOD, they're finally doing stuff for her that's divine. Salma looks like a queen.

Well, I'm not sure I love this sleeve length on Olivia. But it feels a bit regal and mildly stuffy, and she IS a double monarch now (QE2 and Queen Anne), so it tracks. What I love is that the train is two-tone...

... and it looked super when she walked. All hail. I love her and she's renewed my enthusiasm for The Crown. Which is coming back... eventually.

This is garish in a way that I find CRAZY effective on her. The neckpiece is part of the dress, not a separate loaner, and Cate is giving it cachet that I'm not sure everyone could. And I have to say, I think brunette Cate sells it better than if she'd still been blonde. I don't know why, but it might be that it creates a kind of sandwich effect of dark, sparkles, dark.

I was all set to love this deeply, but the flashbulbs seem to have crept inside the bodice.

Arrivals - 2019 EE British Academy Film Awards, London, United Kingdom - 10 Feb 2019
Slick and sleek. I love that her lipstick plays off the closure on her clutch; this is well-accessorized indeed. She's sneakily had a superb awards run, fashion-wise.

I will confess that I am not sure who she is -- IMDb doesn't list much I recognize except some Supergirl -- but that necklace is divine, and the dress sets it off wonderfully. Max impact, minimum fuss.

I am not sure what sin her floppy-brimmed hat committed, but she REALLY punished it.

Rachel Weisz poses for photographers upon arrival at the BAFTA awards in London
BAFTA Film Awards 2019, London, United Kingdom - 10 Feb 2019
We began with a great custom Gucci, and we ended with a dismal one. I don't have a sense of what Rachel Weisz's style is, exactly, but I would not have picked Musty Olden Times Bridal Nightie.
