I don't dislike this. Neither am I in love with it. She looks lovely, it's simple and classic -- almost the tuxedo of dresses -- and it fits. She's wearing lipstick. Yada yada yada. But I think Julianne Moore in creamy-white is just never going to be a dream for me. I don't think it lights up her skin tone the way other choices do. It just... clashes, almost, and the pink lipstick then somehow just comes across as harsh rather than the perfect punctuation. So as I said: Generally speaking this is nice, but it's somehow not a marriage of star and dress that I would have made with my whole heart.

... No.

"I know! It's more black lacy stuff! I KNOW. I do. But it's my jam! It's the spots, and I'm the leopard, and we're forever. Just focus on my shoes instead."

These play a bit like sequined sweatpants, but... the thing is, at least on her, I am not minding the sequined sweatpants.
