And I say that as person who was a bit too old for that show, but still somehow managed to watch a lot of it while getting ready to go out, or something. I want a do-over on Regina's jewelry and shoes. We need an accessory intervention. However! I also want to share with you this gem from her Wikipedia page: "At age 40, Hall unsuccessfully tried to become a nun after a bad break-up. Hall had previously wanted to become a nun at the age of 14. She was refused for being too old, as the cut off age is 39 and for having too many sexual partners." THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER. First of all, I feel like back in the day there was no age cut off if you wanted to take the veil. Old widows in Ye Olden Times would take the veil ALL THE TIME. Second, I feel like it's VERY judgement of those nuns to tell her she's had too many sexual partners to then turn around and devote her life to the Lord. Like, if you've slept with 5 people, they can work with that, but if it's 30, WELL TOO FAR GONE DOWN SIN ROAD BYE? Regina, I suspect you were probably actually rejected by the nunnery because they figured this was just the heartbreak talking and you didn't really WANT to be a nun, but if not, I suggest trying some other, nicer, nuns. (Did I ever tell you guys that I once wanted to be a nun? I'm not Catholic. Also I realized that I actually just wanted to be Maria in The Sound of Music because I ALSO wanted to marry Capt Von Trapp.)
