It is even MORE disturbing when, per the Amazon description, this book is ALLEGEDLY set in modern times. It saddens me that Katie hasn't bothered to do the research for the genre-busting historical piece/salute to Candy Crush that her soul clearly wants to do.

I presume her next book is called Mystic Tan: A Love Story. Can't wait to see what she wears to the launch for that one.
