Parker Posey
This feels like a VERY specific bridesmaid vibe -- like, say, each one wears the exact same thing to a spring wedding but in a different Easter-friendly color. There might also be a parasol involved. And white lace gloves, but short ones that ONLY cover your hand.
Zoe Lister-Jones
Zoe apparently plays the young version of Patti LuPone in this, which seems like great casting. But I am not convinced she didn't make this dress after going on a binge at the local sticker shop.
Kylie Rogers
This definitely needs an accessory pass, and maybe a color pass, and a bodice redesign pass. So... just pass. (I actually like
Ari Aster and Joaquin Phoenix
Ari seems so JOLLY. Not that I expect him to wallow in misery, but it IS a tone shift from his work. This is a good sign -- it means he isn't taking it home with him, presumably. Joaquin looks... fine... and also like he needs to wash his Chucks. And his hair, though he most likely came from the set of Joker 2.
Kate Berlant
A little less transparency and we're THERE. Love that avalanche of curls.
Maya Kazan
This is how I learned that Zoe Kazan has a sister who looks rather like her. Maybe a cross between Zoe and Kerry Condon.
Armen Nahapetian and Julia Antonelli
These two play young Joaquin and Parker, respectively. Julia is 19, even though she looks a lot younger. I look forward to her getting hooked up with some more interesting, fun styling. Also, Armen appears to have hogged all the gel.
Darren Criss
I like that sweater a lot. I might REALLY have like oxblood shoes with this.
Michael Gandolfini
Perfectly good.
Shannon Purser
I wonder if the final Stranger Things season will resurrect -- even just in the Upside Down -- people who we once knew. Justice for poor Barb! Who is, by the by, leaning very 90s here.
Kesha
Kesha just wants to duck in and see the movie before anyone registers whether her pants are sheer.
