(Photo by Daniele Venturelli/WireImage) This is a very smart, toned-down homage to Lydia Deetz. I haven't seen Beetlejuice FOREVER so I missed that [her outfit the other day](https://www.gofugyourself.com/photos/venice-early-arrivals/celebrity-sightings-ahead-of-the-81st-venice-international-film-festival-3?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) was a tribute to [Alec Baldwin's character](https://www.therpf.com/forums/attachments/tumblr%5Fo3hk1edzmb1qjouuqo10%5F1280-jpg.844862/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). Also, in my head, this is Bill Pullman and not Baldwin. Why? No idea. ![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2024/08/gettyimages-2169064261-1724885344.jpg) VENICE, ITALY - AUGUST 28: Jenna Ortega attends a red carpet for the movie "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" during the 81st Venice International Film Festival at on August 28, 2024 in Venice, Italy. (Photo by Stephane Cardinale - Corbis/Corbis via Getty Images) This looks a bit like a bloody valentine. Which I suppose is the point. Props to her for being one of the only people I've seen make red eyeshadow work, though. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/08/GettyImages-2169083943-1724885309.jpg) VENICE, ITALY - AUGUST 28: Jenna Ortega attends a red carpet for the movie "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" during the 81st Venice International Film Festival at on August 28, 2024 in Venice, Italy. (Photo by Alessandra Benedetti - Corbis/Corbis via Getty Images) And it's all held together by the thinnest of strings. I assume there's some safety tape in there too. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/08/GettyImages-2169065582-1724886949.jpg) VENICE, ITALY - AUGUST 28: Jenna Ortega arrives at Hotel Excelsior at the 81st Venice International Film Festival on August 28, 2024 in Venice, Italy. (Photo by Jacopo Raule/FilmMagic) Admittedly I like this so much less with the sheer aspect, BUT: *Clearly* this is her holiday card this year. ## Catherine O'Hara in Oscar de la Renta, with Bo Welch ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/08/GettyImages-2169057630-1724885381.jpg) VENICE, ITALY - AUGUST 28: Catherine O'Hara and Bo Welch attend a red carpet for the movie "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" during the 81st Venice International Film Festival at on August 28, 2024 in Venice, Italy. (Photo by Daniele Venturelli/WireImage) She will never NOT inspire a Moira Rose reference. Moira would have LOVED this. ## Winona Ryder in Chanel ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/08/GettyImages-2169061276-1724885369.jpg) VENICE, ITALY - AUGUST 28: Winona Ryder attends a red carpet for the movie "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" during the 81st Venice International Film Festival at on August 28, 2024 in Venice, Italy. (Photo by Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images) Chanel has perhaps outdone itself so far, because I am not ACTIVELY mad at anything they've done? This is perfect on Winona, both for the movie and honestly for her general aesthetic. ## with Scott Mackinlay Hahn ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/08/GettyImages-2169064184-1724885332.jpg) VENICE, ITALY - AUGUST 28: Winona Ryder and Scott Mackinlay Hahn attend a red carpet for the movie "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" during the 81st Venice International Film Festival at on August 28, 2024 in Venice, Italy. (Photo by Stephane Cardinale - Corbis/Corbis via Getty Images) And her beau is lovely. That is an impressive beard. ## Tim Burton and Monica Bellucci (in custom Vivienne Westwood) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/08/Tim-Burton-in-Dior-1724885296.jpg) VENICE, ITALY - AUGUST 28: Tim Burton and Monica Bellucci attend a red carpet for the movie "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" during the 81st Venice International Film Festival at on August 28, 2024 in Venice, Italy. (Photo by Andreas Rentz/Getty Images) This dress didn't really survive the car trip very well, but what can you do. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/08/GettyImages-2169069278-1724885320.jpg) VENICE, ITALY - AUGUST 28: Monica Bellucci attends a red carpet for the movie "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" during the 81st Venice International Film Festival at on August 28, 2024 in Venice, Italy. (Photo by Jacopo Raule/FilmMagic) However... may I confess that for once I am not that fond of this gigantic necklace? I don't know, it's just... it seems costumey and a little cheesy to me. ## Michael Keaton ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/08/GettyImages-2169058067-1724885356.jpg) VENICE, ITALY - AUGUST 28: Michael Keaton attends a red carpet for the movie "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" during the 81st Venice International Film Festival at on August 28, 2024 in Venice, Italy. (Photo by Andreas Rentz/Getty Images) I think one reason these Beetlejuice fashion tributes work for me is that Michael Keaton is not the one doing it. He's just chilling out in his suit. ## Justin Theroux, Nicole Brydon Bloom ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/08/GettyImages-2169055207-1724885392.jpg) VENICE, ITALY - AUGUST 28: Justin Theroux and Nicole Brydon Bloom attend a red carpet for the movie "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" during the 81st Venice International Film Festival at on August 28, 2024 in Venice, Italy. (Photo by Daniele Venturelli/WireImage) Very dapper, sir. Both of you. ## Giada Colagrande, Willem Dafoe ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/08/GettyImages-2169054058-1724885416.jpg) VENICE, ITALY - AUGUST 28: Giada Colagrande and Willem Dafoe attend a red carpet for the movie "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" during the 81st Venice International Film Festival at on August 28, 2024 in Venice, Italy. (Photo by Vittorio Zunino Celotto/Getty Images) Giada's dress is GREAT. And Willem is doing Willem. ## Jenna Ortega ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/08/GettyImages-2168998485-1724885428.jpg) VENICE, ITALY - AUGUST 28: Jenna Ortega attends a photocall for the movie "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" during the 81st Venice International Film Festival at on August 28, 2024 in Venice, Italy. (Photo by Alessandra Benedetti - Corbis/Corbis via Getty Images) This is ALSO apparently a hat-tip, this time to [Beetlejuice's wedding tux](https://i.pinimg.com/originals/d6/48/75/d6487590d0aa7a6d14513a3513bc0a30.jpg?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). I love that she wore both sides of the scene in one day. ## Winona Ryder ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/08/GettyImages-2168998440-1724885439.jpg) VENICE, ITALY - AUGUST 28: Winona Ryder, attends a photocall for the movie "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" during the 81st Venice International Film Festival at on August 28, 2024 in Venice, Italy. (Photo by Alessandra Benedetti - Corbis/Corbis via Getty Images) I don't have a credit on this, but it feels very Chanel-y. It's fine! It's heavy, maybe. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/08/GettyImages-2168997417-1724885475.jpg) VENICE, ITALY - AUGUST 28: Winona Ryder, attends a photocall for the movie "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" during the 81st Venice International Film Festival at on August 28, 2024 in Venice, Italy. (Photo by Alessandra Benedetti - Corbis/Corbis via Getty Images) As you can see, it's also a coat over pants. I like the contrast lining and wish we could see more of that. ## Catherine O'Hara ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/08/GettyImages-2168997663-1724885463.jpg) VENICE, ITALY - AUGUST 28: Catherine O’Hara attends a photocall for the movie "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" during the 81st Venice International Film Festival at on August 28, 2024 in Venice, Italy. (Photo by Alessandra Benedetti - Corbis/Corbis via Getty Images) This DEFINITELY feels full Beetlejuice. ## Michael Keaton ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/08/GettyImages-2169003932-1724885405.jpg) VENICE, ITALY - AUGUST 28: Michael Keaton attends a photocall for the movie "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" during the 81st Venice International Film Festival at on August 28, 2024 in Venice, Italy. (Photo by Stefania D'Alessandro/WireImage) All while Michael Keaton remains monochrome and relaxed. ## Willem Dafoe ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/08/GettyImages-2168997669-1724885452.jpg) VENICE, ITALY - AUGUST 28: Willem Dafoe attends a photocall for the movie "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" during the 81st Venice International Film Festival at on August 28, 2024 in Venice, Italy. (Photo by Alessandra Benedetti - Corbis/Corbis via Getty Images) And Willem is just having fun, as usual.
