Jenna Ortega in Dior

This is a very smart, toned-down homage to Lydia Deetz. I haven't seen Beetlejuice FOREVER so I missed that her outfit the other day was a tribute to Alec Baldwin's character. Also, in my head, this is Bill Pullman and not Baldwin. Why? No idea.

This looks a bit like a bloody valentine. Which I suppose is the point. Props to her for being one of the only people I've seen make red eyeshadow work, though.

And it's all held together by the thinnest of strings. I assume there's some safety tape in there too.

Admittedly I like this so much less with the sheer aspect, BUT: Clearly this is her holiday card this year.

Catherine O'Hara in Oscar de la Renta, with Bo Welch

She will never NOT inspire a Moira Rose reference. Moira would have LOVED this.

Winona Ryder in Chanel

Chanel has perhaps outdone itself so far, because I am not ACTIVELY mad at anything they've done? This is perfect on Winona, both for the movie and honestly for her general aesthetic.

And her beau is lovely. That is an impressive beard.

Tim Burton and Monica Bellucci (in custom Vivienne Westwood)

This dress didn't really survive the car trip very well, but what can you do.

However... may I confess that for once I am not that fond of this gigantic necklace? I don't know, it's just... it seems costumey and a little cheesy to me.

Michael Keaton

I think one reason these Beetlejuice fashion tributes work for me is that Michael Keaton is not the one doing it. He's just chilling out in his suit.

Justin Theroux, Nicole Brydon Bloom

Very dapper, sir. Both of you.

Giada Colagrande, Willem Dafoe

Giada's dress is GREAT. And Willem is doing Willem.

Jenna Ortega

This is ALSO apparently a hat-tip, this time to Beetlejuice's wedding tux. I love that she wore both sides of the scene in one day.

Winona Ryder

I don't have a credit on this, but it feels very Chanel-y. It's fine! It's heavy, maybe.

As you can see, it's also a coat over pants. I like the contrast lining and wish we could see more of that.

Catherine O'Hara

This DEFINITELY feels full Beetlejuice.

Michael Keaton

All while Michael Keaton remains monochrome and relaxed.

Willem Dafoe

And Willem is just having fun, as usual.
