I'm mostly kidding: Parker Posey is one of our most cherished Noted Kooks, and I barely know what to do with myself now that she's shown up in Venice looking like she's posing for her official royal portrait. Maybe *The Princess Diaries 3* should pivot from whatever it's doing, and fill the Julie Andrews void by casting Parker as the monarch of a rival principality. I'm also not opposed to fusing it with the White Lotus extended universe, and having her twin sister Victoria Ratliff come to visit and then trade places. Wait, now I think I've turned it into an expansion of those Vanessa Hudgens Netflix movies. I've gone too far. You might say, "Heather, *noooooo*."

Parker is there promoting *Wild Horse Nine*, a movie whose log line I truly never thought I'd type: an Easter Island dark comedy by Martin McDonagh.
