Well, the idea of this was a great one; the gold is amazing, the cut has a dreaminess to it. But standing there, it's just... hanging. Now, Caitriona Balfe can pull off a LOT, and is a former runway model herself, and yet it looked better on Karen Elson during the AZ Factory show. All I can conclude, then, is that its magic is in the motion.

Exhibit B. It's better already. (There is a tiny part of me that will wonder if Gwen Christie could have done it best.)

I LOVE this photo. This little tot (he's in the movie) is SO DELIGHTED to see her. That reaction honestly says a lot about how lovely she must have been to him.

His suit is an afterthought. I am extremely into her long kilt-ish skirt, which pairs better with the blue top than I would have thought. I'm into it. She and Sophie Hunter can form the club of We're Not In The Movie But We Dress Better Than The Dudes Who Are.

Lace is rarely my jam, but this is really very pretty. It's a dress I would have pulled for Felicity Jones.

Olive, who is in the film as well, is David Tennant's daughter. She looks cold, David. Where is her coat? (She also looks cute.) David however was not present at the premiere...

... so she was chaperoned by her older brother, Ty, whom David adopted after he married Georgia Tennant. And yet, despite having none of David's DNA, doesn't he SCREAM David Tennant to you? Gotta love it.
