## Sydney Sweeney in Alexander McQueen

I feel like history says I should screech about how we don't need to reinvent blazers, but honestly... think she looks groovy in this? It's weird and it's challenging -- unfortunately you can see juuuuuust a bit of boob falling out of it on the right side of the pic, which I think is a casualty of having to move around in this without sufficient tape -- and it's making me change my mind every ten seconds. But I keep landing on the fact that she looks cool.

It does also look like something that a character in a movie would invent, given half an hour in a thrift shop. (In the movie in my mind, Amanda Bynes stars.) But that's not always bad.

## Sydney Sweeney in custom Miu Miu

Oooh, this is so close. It's gorgeous on her, and the way it fits is obviously extremely careful and deliberate -- which means I don't think it's an accident that it cuts so low across her chest. The rest fits so precisely. I think they just went for the bombshell factor ,and slightly missed.

But only slightly. From the side it looks great. Everything is supported, it's sexy, it's sparkly, it's a dream. It's just from the front where I get the frown lines.

## Marchánt Davis, Tina Satter, Sydney Sweeney and Josh Hamilton

All the pics of her director Tina Satter really made me laugh. It's just something about her expression, like she was in character as the third banana in the Misfits and she's considering defecting to Jem's side.

## Tina Satter

And THIS character is her Misfit's daytime alter-ego: a magazine editor who has styled herself after a combination of Judy Greer roles.

## Laëtitia Ky

Mandatory Credit: Photo by Christopher Tamcke/Shutterstock (13774620w) Laëtitia Ky 'Disco Boy' Photocall, 73nd Berlin International Film Festival, Germany - 19 Feb 2023

[Laetitia is a hair sculptor who is insanely accomplished and interesting](https://www.allure.com/story/laetitia-ky-hair-sculpture-interview?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), and I love how she looks in that whole ensemble, and that she brought her art with her to Berlin. (She's in a movie called Disco Boy, about the French Foreign Legion.)(Also this caption got eaten in a coding error that WOULD NOT LET US FIX IT SOMEHOW but I think it's working. The next slide made way less sense without this copy!)

## Laëtitia Ky

Mandatory Credit: Photo by Christopher Tamcke/Shutterstock (13774868m) Laëtitia Ky Disco Boy' premiere, 73nd Berlin International Film Festival, Germany - 19 Feb 2023

I am not as into her dress here? The previous outfit is just so good. [You can see better shots of her hair on her Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/p/Co5vqFJIroW?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). I am really hoping she will post a story behind her sculptures here -- her work is often political, and I'm curious if there's an underlying message.

## Helen Mirren

Relatable.

## Yuto Nakajima

Mandatory Credit: Photo by Christopher Tamcke/Shutterstock (13776215j) Yuto Nakajima 'Manhole' premiere, 73nd Berlin International Film Festival, Germany - 20 Feb 2023

His movie, #Manhole, is indeed about a guy who falls down a manhole. He got started in music before switching into acting, and that is some serious floppy teen idol hair right there. (This is a compliment.)

## John Malkovich, Geraldine Chaplin

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/02/shutterstock_editorial_13775710d-1676957895.jpg)

The in-person event runs from 16 to 26 February 2023\. Seneca - Photocall - 73rd Berlin Film Festival, Germany - 20 Feb 2023

They are in a movie called *Seneca – On the Creation of Earthquakes*, which [Deadline called an "almost unendurable"](https://deadline.com/2023/02/seneca-review-john-malkovich-titular-role-stoic-philosopher-1235265793/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) two-hour philosophy monologue set in the time of Nero. (Apparently Julian Sands is also in it, which is bittersweet, as he has yet to be found and it's surely not good news.) These two DO kind of look like a quirky philosophy couple who teach at a small arts college in the northeast.

I've decided they remind me of that SNL sketch where Will Ferrell and Rachel Dratch play the hot tub lovaaaaahs.

## Sean Penn

He is truly making some hair decisions right now.

## Matt Damon

Naturally, U2 popped by for the screening. I feel ancient.

## Rebecca-Jo Dunham and Jay Baruchel

He stars in Blackberry, which, yes, is absolutely about the rise and fall of the Blackberry phone. I am concerned that his partner is not aware that her attempts to crochet didn't work.

## Cary Elwes

The in-person event runs from 16 to 26 February 2023\. BlackBerry - Premiere - 73rd Berlin Film Festival, Germany - 17 Feb 2023

He is soothingly dapper. And also in Blackberry.

## Glenn Howerton

## Adrien Brody and Georgina Chapman

Berlin - Manodrome Premiere, Germany - 18 Feb 2023

I keep forgetting that these two are dating. It goes in, I am startled, I remember, and then it goes right back out again. Georgina's dress looks both fine, and like a drive-through car wash. I am not sure about Adrien's black, brown, and grey scenario...

## Adrien Brody

Honestly, is there anyone else you could cast as a thief who becomes trapped in a penthouse, and slowly grows mad and desperate? It's perfect.
