It's very much the right spirit. ## F. Murray Abraham ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/01/shutterstock_editorial_13705152fn-1673572143.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/BEI/Shutterstock (13705152fn) F Murray Abraham 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Arrivals, Beverly Hilton, Los Angeles, USA - 10 Jan 2023 He's a fox. And you all know I don't typically like black and blue together, so it says a lot that I'm on board with this whole thing. ## Janelle James in Safiyaa ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/01/shutterstock_editorial_13705151or-1673572133.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by David Fisher/Shutterstock (13705151or) Janelle James 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Arrivals, Beverly Hilton, Los Angeles, USA - 10 Jan 2023 This is just fantastic. ## Jean Smart in Tadashi Shoji ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/01/shutterstock_editorial_13705152zw-1673572200.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/BEI/Shutterstock (13705152zw) Jean Smart 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Arrivals, Beverly Hilton, Los Angeles, USA - 10 Jan 2023 Clean and classic. I was astonished this came from Shoji -- not that I doubt the skills, but that this is more Tom Ford than Tadashi. ## Jennifer Hudson in CD Greene ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/01/GettyImages-1455614150-1673573090.jpg) BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - JANUARY 10: Jennifer Hudson with Icelandic Glacial at the 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton on January 10, 2023 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by Joe Scarnici/Getty Images for Icelandic Glacial) I don't know why we only had a photo of her in front of the water sponsor? She DID do the proper red carpet, and not just the water cave. Anyway: WOW. ## Kerry Condon in custom Brandon Maxwell ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/01/shutterstock_editorial_13705152ut-1673572182.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/BEI/Shutterstock (13705152ut) Kerry Condon 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Arrivals, Beverly Hilton, Los Angeles, USA - 10 Jan 2023 A precisely fitted dress, well-accessorized, for what I BELIEVE is her first major award show of a long career (did you know she's the voice of the JARVIS replacement in all the Marvel movies where Paul Bettany is out and about in human form?). ## Laverne Cox in vintage Galliano ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/01/shutterstock_editorial_13706716n-1673572221.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Jordan Strauss/AP/Shutterstock (13706716n) Laverne Cox arrives at the 80th annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Beverly Hills, Calif 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards - Arrivals, Beverly Hills, United States - 10 Jan 2023 This is the best she's looked in a long time. I wish she'd just walked the carpet all night instead of doing the E thing. ## Letitia Wright in Prada ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/01/shutterstock_editorial_13705151jl-1673572104.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by David Fisher/Shutterstock (13705151jl) Letitia Wright 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Arrivals, Beverly Hilton, Los Angeles, USA - 10 Jan 2023 She just makes such interesting choices. We ended up liking it because it's so out of the norm for her, and because she's working extremely creatively around what I assume is a constantly changing post-partum body. Like, she could be excused for just wearing a drape, but she's out there going for it. ## Michelle Yeoh in Armani ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/01/shutterstock_editorial_13705151jx-1673572114.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by David Fisher/Shutterstock (13705151jx) Michelle Yeoh 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Arrivals, Beverly Hilton, Los Angeles, USA - 10 Jan 2023 I don't actually LOVE this, I don't think? The issue is, it's Michelle Yeoh, so her particular life force makes pretty much any dress a Best candidate even if the dress itself is not my ideal. And I know some of you really did love it. ## Rhea Seehorn in Naeem Khan ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/01/shutterstock_editorial_13705152qz-1673572173.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/BEI/Shutterstock (13705152qz) Rhea Seehorn 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Arrivals, Beverly Hilton, Los Angeles, USA - 10 Jan 2023 I decided I don't care about the visible knickers. ## Sheryl Lee Ralph in custom Aliette ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/01/shutterstock_editorial_13705152ox-1673572163.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/BEI/Shutterstock (13705152ox) Sheryl Lee Ralph 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Arrivals, Beverly Hilton, Los Angeles, USA - 10 Jan 2023 Custom! This is one of those times.
