I would not have predicted this was Reem Acra; it is delightful, and her sleeves are a dramatic delight. I DO wish her clutch were a contrasting color, but we saw a LOT of Matchy-Matchy at this Oscars and I may have to just...accept it.

I also would not have guessed this was Brandon Maxwell; she looks FANTASTIC in it, and this seems like it might be a very fruitful pairing of actor and designer for events to come. Let's keep this happening.

Mary J did not win either the categories for which she was nominated but she did, at least, look FANTASTIC upon this night. (And, actually, throughout awards season.)

How is it possible that this both looks like carpet samples cleverly sewn togther, AND is extremely elegant and unusual? However that works...keep it up.

Per Siriano, this is actually blush pink, and it's covered in many tiny sequins. It almost looks like leather, which -- for the record -- I would also enjoy.
