I like to think that Chastain heaved a sigh of relief that all of us who complain about her fashion choices were totally distracted by the Emmys when she left the house in this:

INCORRECTLY, however, as I actually think this is a huge improvement over her usual. I wish to the sweet lord of sandwiches above that she had done something different with her hair -- actually, I wish she had just left her hair alone and let it flow naturally over her shoulders (I am aware that the celebrity version of "flowing naturally" and "left alone" takes a couple of hours, but you feel me) -- but this is good, right? Better, at least? Somewhat better? Progress? Slight progress? Not, at least, regression? Right? RIGHT?
