You need a bracelet, but this is so va va vavoom. It's not a COLOR, but it IS conceivably something that an up-and-coming starlet should wear, AND it fits. I will take what I can get.

And these earrings are fantastic.

Sigh. I mean, fine. It's not TERRIBLE. It fits. It's just sort of DRAB. You'd see this on a tertiary character on *Downton Abbey* who was just beginning to come back into society after a year of mourning her husband who was killed when someone pushed him down a well. She's gorgeous -- she'll EASILY land another husband who may or may not also get shoved down a well -- but right now, she's CHAFING at the bonds of SOCIETY that are forcing her to lurk around the edges of the ball in something that looks like it's growing on her.

[Better Played, Jessica ChastainI have two questions for Jessica Chastain: a) why didn't you wear either of these dresses to the Globes? and b) does your stylist secretly hate you? Seriously. Think back upon this. Did you accidentally spill red wine all over her vintage white angora sweater? Did you convince her boyfriend to leave her for his masseuse? Did you run over her dog with your snow mobile? Because she never lets you wear color and she put you in your sexiest outfit to date for an awards show that isn't even on TV. Think about it.![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2012/01/137521848.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/better-played-jessica-chastain-01-2012/)
