Beyonce voices Nala in the upcoming live-action *Lion King* remake, so of course that became the theme for her mother's annual Wearable Art Gala, which benefits a gallery and performance space that her mother owns. What convenient synergy. Tons of other people attended, whom you'll see above -- and the outfits are Met Gala-level involved -- but Bey skipped the red carpet in favor of her own curated pics on Instagram:

It's certainly on-theme. Honestly, as literal as this Georges Hobeika is, I like it miles better than all the times she'd show up to the Met Gala in a strategically BeDazzled Kleenex, and it's fantastic workmanship. The top is really stunning.
