This slideshow is in no particular order, partly because I wanted to begin with this one. It's SO GOOD. It's clean, it's careful... I truly thought it was also Calvin Klein, until I saw the designer credit. I am shocked Stella can make something this good, and sad she doesn't do it more often.

Elizabeth Banks wore a version of this also. I feel much the same way about it as I did hers -- that it's surprisingly charming -- but I think the one would have been perfect for me if they'd just cut off the weird neck strap.

I don't remember how I felt about this at the time, but I do rather enjoy it now. The black bars are a little heavy for it, but she's making sense of them.

I also shouldn't like this. I really shouldn't. I put it, also, down to her personal charms.

I think I would like this better on her if her hair weren't getting in the way of the details. Like, I know from the runway picture that the beading goes up around her sleeve. In this photo it looks sort of weird up top.

YES to the shoes, no to the neckline.

A THOUSAND YESES to this coat. I just... I think my soul just cried a little.

This Breton stripe dress says, "WELCOME FUG NATION. I EMBRACE YOU."

That dress is adorable and what a hideous view my god how do these people live with themselves.

Hmm. This is very Cosmic Mysteries of the Sea. I don't hate it on her, but I also feel like... the list of people who can pull this off and not detract from their faces is very short.

Yes, and yes. It is at this point in the slideshow that you should look away if you have not seen Spectre, because I am about to go on a rant. In 3...2..1...
OKAY. I know it's nice and all that she doesn't let James seduce her, but why did Skyfall go to all that trouble to set her up as a badass field agent, only to give her NOTHING TO DO in this movie? She was basically back to being a secretary. What a waste of all that character work.

I've liked things more... and I've liked things less.

Bless her for the bracelet and the gold shoes.

There's a really great blue dress in there that's all messed up because Darth Vader is hugging her from behind.

I want her to look into a new, plummier lip color.

I also want her to look into writing me a letter detailing her ab workout.

That's one of the best Diors in a while, made even better by the contrast with what Monica Bellucci is wearing.

I LOVE this color, and may just pretend the occasional wrinkle and weird tailoring are not happening.

Okay, three cheers for yellow, but three jeers for the free pap exam.

*drool* What more can I say? I feel like ever since Michael Kors left Project Runway, his red carpet output has been lovelier AND more impressive. Coincidence? Maybe, but... let's say not.
