Kylie Jenner in Balmain
The faux-naked dress -- it's a print on the fabric -- is always going to be a little distracting if it doesn't completely line up with the person's actual body, so I find myself staring at her pelvis to judge whether her crotch would ACTUALLY be there or if it's too high. I don't LIKE that this is what I'm doing, but here we are.
Kylie and Travis Scott
Okay, the knees are definitely off. It would surely be damn near impossible to line this up correctly except on the person whose body that is, right? It's so unsettling. Travis looks good. Oh, also, Kylie seems to be the second person that I recall whose bracelets are clamped outside her sleeves, so I guess that's on its way in?
DJ Khaled
You can just HEAR him saying ARE YOUR READY FOR THIS? IT'S DJ KHALED. I like that he chose this color. He was in good company, as it happens.
Becky G
That's frothy and fun for a music show (she performed/lip synched) and I'm here for it.
Quincy Brown
What would one keep in shin pockets, I wonder, that wouldn't actively bruise you whenever you walk? A stash of Band-Aids and cotton, I suppose.
Yung Miami and JT (the City Girls)
The commitment to matching is funny, but the ruffles starting BELOW the crotch of their bodysuits feels like an easily fixed mistake. Just add a second ruffle, y'all.
Maxwell
Slow down and stay awhile, Maxwell! Your suit is good!
Michael Buble and Luisana Lopilato
I don't hate her shoes, but they clash with the aura of her dress. Those are Cute Luncheon Shoes, not Sparkly Blue Vegas Evening Shoes.
Jozzy
I don't think Jozzy's attended these before. I hope she said, "This IS my first rodeo and I will dress accordingly."
Fat Joe
This is a day-to-night outfit in Vegas, where you need to be able to go to a club AND to a pool and sometimes the club IS the pool.
Giveon
I wasn't sure where to put him; his suit has a SLIGHT greenish cast? So, here, I give you Giveon, who seemed very charming in his interview with E, where he confessed that he really does not like peaches despite singing with Bieber on "Peaches."
Mari Copeny
Mari, also nicknamed Little Miss Flint, is known for her activism surrounding the poisoned water in Flint, Michigan. She got an award for it, and was amazing, including landing a great line about the consequences of people not taking elections seriously (TOO TRUE). We are not leaving her or her generation much of a world, and we owe it to them to try and fix that as much as we can.
