## Olivia Rodrigo in Area

From this angle it looks like her shoes are giant slippers. This outfit is fine... for, like, going to Sirius XM Radio to do a Q&A. But she was winning the big Woman of the Year award and I feel like her team could have come up with something a little more special.

## Doja Cat in Carolina Herrera

People are REALLY into dresses that evoke a boob-cupping. Having said that, at least it's fun. (The poofball, not boob-cupping.)

## Ciara in Roberto Cavalli

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/03/shutterstock_editorial_12830715aa-1646282334.jpg)

Mandatory Credit: Photo by CraSH/imageSPACE/Shutterstock (12830715aa) Ciara Billboard Women in Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 02 Mar 2022

The bodice of this dress looks like an homage to a sex swing.

## with Russell Wilson

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/03/shutterstock_editorial_12830715ak-1646282341.jpg)

Mandatory Credit: Photo by CraSH/imageSPACE/Shutterstock (12830715ak) Russell Wilson and Ciara Billboard Women in Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 02 Mar 2022

Russell also attended, and although we can't see his shoes, it's safe to say he looks dapper and is not secretly padding around with his feet jammed in Kleenex boxes or anything.

## Bonnie Raitt

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/03/shutterstock_editorial_12830715i-1646282428.jpg)

Mandatory Credit: Photo by CraSH/imageSPACE/Shutterstock (12830715i) Bonnie Raitt Billboard Women in Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 02 Mar 2022

I keep thinking I will do this to my hair one day. And then I remember that I am not Bonnie Raitt, which substantially decreases my odds of it looking cool.

## Phoebe Bridgers in Gucci

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/03/shutterstock_editorial_12830268id-1646282252.jpg)

Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock (12830268id) Phoebe Bridgers Billboard Women in Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 02 Mar 2022

This is lovely. It beats her skeleton suits. Question: Will Brie Larson play her someday in the movie of her life? *Bridgerston* will be the name.

## Tinashe in Christopher John Rogers

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/03/shutterstock_editorial_12830268jn-1646282266.jpg)

Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock (12830268jn) Tinashe Billboard Women in Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 02 Mar 2022

Christopher John Rogers really lights up a red carpet. I adore this, with one exception...

Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock (12830268jg) Tinashe Billboard Women in Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 02 Mar 2022

... and that is, if it pinches any harder, it's gonna bruise the produce.

## Sofia Carson

Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock (12830268ou) Sofia Carson Billboard Women in Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 02 Mar 2022

I can't WAIT for Agnes Van Rhijn's OTHER niece to show up in Manhattan and really kick feminism into high gear.

## Saweetie in Valentino

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/03/shutterstock_editorial_12830268li-1646282273.jpg)

Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock (12830268li) Saweetie Billboard Women in Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 02 Mar 2022

She has more hair than her top has material.

Mandatory Credit: Photo by CraSH/imageSPACE/Shutterstock (12830715dc) Saweetie Billboard Women in Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 02 Mar 2022

Ladies and gentlemen, I present: An Ode to Stickum. (Yes, it has netting on the sides, but STILL. This has to be precisely affixed.)

## Jimmy Jam

In case you're wondering what time it is, it's Flyte Tyme.

## Normani

Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock (12830268ny) Normani Billboard Women in Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 02 Mar 2022

Please, someone, reassure me that this doesn't end in the sharpest-edged snap-crotch bodysuit imaginable.

## Aly and AJ

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/03/shutterstock_editorial_12830268pf-1646282301.jpg)

Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock (12830268pf) Aly Michalka and AJ Michalka Billboard Women in Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 02 Mar 2022

The Michalka sisters are giving me light Olsen vibes here.

## Heidi Klum in Moschino

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/03/shutterstock_editorial_12830269gn-1646282321.jpg)

Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (12830269gn) Heidi Klum Billboard Women in Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 02 Mar 2022

I always wonder if this length is slightly awkward, but I don't actually care that much because this is so cheerful. And easily one of her best outfits.

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/03/shutterstock_editorial_12830715fa-1646282408.jpg)

Mandatory Credit: Photo by CraSH/imageSPACE/Shutterstock (12830715fa) Heidi Klum Billboard Women in Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 02 Mar 2022

Looks like her purse is bored, though. Maybe it accidentally took melatonin instead of aspirin.

## Olivia Holt

And, the Cut Up Your Favorite Red Handbag challenge.

## Sheryl Crow

She looks excellent.

## Christina Aguilera

Mandatory Credit: Photo by CraSH/imageSPACE/Shutterstock (12830715ds) Christina Aguilera Billboard Women in Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 02 Mar 2022

I have never thought this about Xtina before, but in this photo she looks kind of like... Austin Butler in a wig? I wonder if there are injectables at work. (No judgment.)

She is also wearing... breast cuffs.

## HER in Alexandre Vauthier

I would look so shlubby in this, but on her -- H.E.R. -- it's cool.

## Karol G

Mandatory Credit: Photo by CraSH/imageSPACE/Shutterstock (12830715en) Karol G Billboard Women in Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 02 Mar 2022

Mrs. Claus was SO excited about her image makeover.

## Ava Max

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/03/shutterstock_editorial_12830715fp-1646282421.jpg)

Mandatory Credit: Photo by CraSH/imageSPACE/Shutterstock (12830715fp) Ava Max Billboard Women in Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 02 Mar 2022

Did she really just shove up her trousers and prop them up with her shoes?!? That is Ava *Min* behavior, milady.

## Coco Jones

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/03/shutterstock_editorial_12830268il-1646284096.jpg)

Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock (12830268il) Coco Jones Billboard Women in Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 02 Mar 2022

This has a lot going on! It looks fun to twirl in.

## Laya

Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/Shutterstock (12830269a) Laya Billboard Women in Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 02 Mar 2022

I am not sure who Laya is, other than the owner of the world's greatest purse. But maybe that's all I need to know.

Sigh. Only people of a certain age anymore know the joys of screaming into a phone handset before slamming it down, Jeannie Bueller-style. Bring back the corded phone! The one you had to drag down the hall and into your room!

[Olivia Rodrigo is Billboard's Woman of the YearAlso featuring Bonnie Raitt, Doja Cat, Saweetie, an Xtina sighting, and a corded phone.
