Laverne Cox in vintage Dior

I think this is delightful on her, with a caveat. Teeny minis with flippy ruffle hems always look a tiny bit "cheerleader" to me, so I wish this had been made with a slightly longer skirt. I think it still would have worked. But this is lighthearted and lovely on Laverne.

Suki Waterhouse in Valentino

I said to myself, "Gotta be Gucci," until I remembered we've shuffled that deck and he's at Valentino now. That skirt fabric is luxe as hell, but that bow with the fur tails hanging from it is HIDEOUS. I would take that and all the fuzzies off, and see where we land. But Alessandro Michele is not a subtraction fan.

Erykah Badu

The skirt is really quite lovely. The jacket suggests she's on the track team at a nearby high school.

Tinashe in Wiederhoeft

... so they're making Hefty bags in bronze now?

Madison Beer in custom Statnaia

I hold my breath involuntarily whenever I look at this. As if I'm imagining what she had to do.

Kali Uchis

At least Madison's seems to fit? This one lacks precision. It's like Temu Moulin Rouge.

Lauren Jauregui

I love the color on her, but it looks like a gust of wind has taken it.

Summer Walker

Of all the things happening here, it's the single strap I can't figure out. WHY? To what end is that the decision?

Victoria Monet

Usually I don't root for more sheers, but I think that skirt actually works super well on her, and the grey houndstooth part is discordant.

Jennie in Zuhair Murad

This almost looks like it's still in the design phase.

Kiana Ledé

I just often want to know what a person saw in a dress that made them say, "Oh, it's so CUTE." This looks like it bunched up on her in the car and she didn't know to fix it.

Ledisi

This felt like a good palate cleanser.

Ari Lennox

This would be PERFECT for a Carmen Sandiego gymnastics routine.

Michaela Jae Rodriguez

I like this swoop.

Julia Michaels

I wish I couldn't see the boning.

Madison Bailey in Raisa Vanessa

If she's worried about her left arm rising up and smacking someone unbidden, this design definitely helps.

Zara Larsson

I am so glad this dress specifies that this is fake currency. I almost tried to spend it.

MARLEE XX

This giant bow top made me giggle. I'm almost surprised JoJo Siwa hasn't worn it.

Mariah the Scientist

Obviously her enormous cone boobs are amusing, but I really just enjoy her name.

Meg Donnelly

Tough color, but it's cute!

Karaba

This is a cool application of sheers AND of the strange leg-skirt situation.

Yasmine Sahid

I did not see that shoe color coming.

Annahstasia

This amused me because those shoes make it look like she's a statuette mounted on a wooden block.

Laverne Cox Led the Colorful Frocks of the Billboard Women in Music Event

To mixed effect.
