I am just concerned that what's supposed to be edgy seams and stitching just looks like messy static cling. Maybe this isn't transmitting in photos the way it did in person. And here's why I think that...

We can be so complete here! Bracelets, rings, the bag! But what I'm really pointing out is that this dress has texture that isn't being done justice in photographs. And that's a problem because the photographs, specifically the full ones like the first in this slideshow, are how it's going to live on in our memories. And those are the ones that are... whelming.

Wearing Three As Four
I also think the makeup looks messy, and so dark, when the rest of this is ALSO dark. I know Grace was dramatic, but Grace also had a sense of fun that this is missing for me. THIS Grace Jones makeup would have been cool.

The boots are not my favorite either, but they are at least funky.

CLOSE UPS. These photographers were on their game. I want to know how those particular zippers help him get these on, and the giant steel toes on the outside do make me laugh.

Applause for the nifty mask. Also for a second I thought he was wearing kicks for the journey to the car, until I realized those are on the guy with him.
