Billy had a rough summer -- first, [he split up with his husband](https://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/other/billy-porter-says-he-s-back-on-the-market-after-filing-for-divorce-looking-forward-to-the-next-adventure/ar-AA1f6yvf?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), and then [he said the strike has forced him to sell his house](https://www.msn.com/en-us/movies/news/billy-porter-says-he-has-to-sell-his-house-because-of-hollywood-strikes-starved-me-out/ar-AA1f0gUN?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). (He is not antagonizing the unions — he is pro-union and so are we! He’s annoyed with the AMPTP for its part in prolonging it.) I can think of no better way to cheer up than to hang out with Debbie Allen at a benefit for her dance academy while draping oneself in silver sparkles and his favorite (albeit not mine) Rick Owens boots. Sometimes, you just need a damn fancy caftan.
