(Photo by Frazer Harrison/Getty Images) This is a VERY high slit, but she is making this work beautifully -- and the bodice fits like a dream. That's not even getting into her jewelry (amazing) and her head (perfection). This whole look is just really crisp and good. I'm so delighted for her win! ## Lady Gaga in Alexander McQueen ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/02/shutterstock_10112734ib-1551066157.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by David Fisher/REX/Shutterstock (10112734ib) Lady Gaga 91st Annual Academy Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Feb 2019 This is FINE! It's all really just window trimming for [that amazingly blinged out necklace](https://www.wmagazine.com/story/oscars-2019-lady-gaga-tiffany-diamond-necklace-audrey-hepburn?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). ## Ashley Graham in Zac Posen ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/02/shutterstock_10112734aw-1551066136.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by David Fisher/REX/Shutterstock (10112734aw) Ashley Graham 91st Annual Academy Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Feb 2019 I mean...this is literally the best she's ever looked? ## Allison Janney in Pamella Roland ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/02/shutterstock_10112734fy-1551066148.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by David Fisher/REX/Shutterstock (10112734fy) Allison Janney 91st Annual Academy Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Feb 2019 This is elegant! This IS what you wear when you're the outgoing winner. Streamlined, chic, not too flashy. ## Tessa Thompson in Chanel ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/02/shutterstock_10113255iq-1551066188.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Christopher Polk/REX/Shutterstock (10113255iq) Tessa Thompson 91st Annual Academy Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Feb 2019 Somewhere in the afterlife, Karl Lagerfeld has notes -- and, indeed, do I. This does not do her justice. (Although she and Michael B Jordon were great when they presented.) ## Bradley Cooper, Irina Shayk, Bradley's Mom ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/02/shutterstock_10113255ki-1551066197.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Christopher Polk/REX/Shutterstock (10113255ki) Gloria Campano, Bradley Cooper, Irina ShaykGloria Campano, Bradley Cooper, Irina ShaykBradley Cooper, Irina Shayk 91st Annual Academy Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Feb 2019 I do NOT know what Irina is wearing here. It's like she bought a very austere black turtleneck dress and decided at the last minute that it was too boring, so she denuded a particularly tacky lamp and used its trimmings as a belt. ## Irina Shayk ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/02/shutterstock_10112734kz-1551075547.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by David Fisher/REX/Shutterstock (10112734kz) Irina Shayk 91st Annual Academy Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Feb 2019 OH right this is more like it. ## Jaime Ray Newman and Trudie Styler ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/02/shutterstock_10112916bd-1551066166.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Andrew H. Walker/BEI/REX/Shutterstock (10112916bd) Jaime Ray Newman and Trudie Styler 91st Annual Academy Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Feb 2019 Jaime Ray Newman and Trudie Styler produced one of the live-action shorts and it pleases me that someone who got her start on soaps, and someone I just saw on *Midsomer Murders*, had such a big night at the Oscars. Jaime's skirt was MUCH SHEERER than it looks here, and I like to think that Trudie is throwing herself against the gown to protect her. ## Jordan Peele, Chelsea Peretti ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/02/shutterstock_10113255hh-1551066177.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Christopher Polk/REX/Shutterstock (10113255hh) Jordan Peele, Chelsea Peretti 91st Annual Academy Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Feb 2019 I ASSUME Chelsea Peretti made a [Brenda Walsh/Kelly Taylor/90210 prom dress](https://goo.gl/images/HMrb34?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) joke before she left the house. ## Queen Latifah in Michael Costello ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/02/shutterstock_10113255kl-1551066209.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Christopher Polk/REX/Shutterstock (10113255kl) Queen Latifah 91st Annual Academy Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Feb 2019 This is pleasantly glam! ## Emily Deschanel ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/02/shutterstock_10118626gj-1551066250.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/REX/Shutterstock (10118626gj) Emily Deschanel arrives at the Oscars, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles 91st Academy Awards - Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Feb 2019 Her jewelry is STELLER but this dress feels....quite unfinished. ## Serena Williams in Armani ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/02/shutterstock_10113255km-1551066218.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Christopher Polk/REX/Shutterstock (10113255km) Serena Williams 91st Annual Academy Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Feb 2019 It's always exciting to see Serena, but this also maybe looks a little unfinished? Eh, she was just very busy throwing Duchess Meghan a baby shower, she's had a lot on her plate. ## Kristin Cavallari ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/02/shutterstock_10118617b-1551066239.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/REX/Shutterstock (10118617b) Kristin Cavallari arrives at the Oscars, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles 91st Academy Awards - Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Feb 2019 K.Cav has worn some HORRIFYING NUMBERS over this past awards season and I am happy to note that we're ending this on a fairly high note. ## Holland Taylor ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/02/shutterstock_10118688ix-1551066260.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/REX/Shutterstock (10118688ix) Holland Taylor arrives at the Oscars, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles 91st Academy Awards - Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Feb 2019 Sure! She looks like a evil but brilliant CEO character who would appear in the sequel to *Down With Love*, but I dig that aesthetic. ## SZA ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/02/shutterstock_10117222bo-1551066229.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by David Fisher/REX/Shutterstock (10117222bo) SZA 91st Annual Academy Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 24 Feb 2019 \[ENDLESS SCREAMING.\] [Black and White Had a Moment at the 2019 OscarsFrom Regina King to Lady Gaga.![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2019/02/regina-king-academy-awards-2-24-1551066335.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/black-and-white-had-a-moment-at-the-2019-oscars-02-2019/)
