This is a VERY high slit, but she is making this work beautifully -- and the bodice fits like a dream. That's not even getting into her jewelry (amazing) and her head (perfection). This whole look is just really crisp and good. I'm so delighted for her win!

Jaime Ray Newman and Trudie Styler produced one of the live-action shorts and it pleases me that someone who got her start on soaps, and someone I just saw on Midsomer Murders, had such a big night at the Oscars. Jaime's skirt was MUCH SHEERER than it looks here, and I like to think that Trudie is throwing herself against the gown to protect her.
