Well done, Givenchy -- Natasha was one of two representatives on this night (that I know of), and she looked very cool, and on-brand. I enjoyed that she told E! that her main vibe was to be rain-proof. I also need to tell you that I realized she should play Carol Channing. Plonk the wig on her and it works, right?

Jamie Lee Curtis in Valentino

You can't really tell, but this is pants. It's pretty, and she knows well how to work it. Nicest grief doily ever. (Sidebar, I know Jennifer Coolidge was flustered, but I can't believe she forgot to name Christopher Guest among her career champions! Her role in Best In Show was seminal.)

Jean Smart

Jean Smart doesn't miss. I was sort of pleased she didn't win for Hacks, not because of spite but because I like variety. I think Jean Smart is also probably okay with it, because win or lose she gets to be Jean Smart, and that rules.

Regina Hall

Regina looks GREAT. She also had one of the best moments of the night. They tend to do this horny lady shtick with her that is wearing a little thin (see: the Brad Pitt bit, next to her Emmys hosting gig), but the whole thing from when she read Kevin Costner's name (that "Ohhhhh" contained multitudes, I think) through to accepting it for him really gave me the giggles.

Emma D'Arcy

Emma is wearing a skirt and pants, which they said they felt was apt for someone nonbinary (they competed in the Actress category). They also said the outfit was meant to have the vibe of a child piano prodigy whose recital isn't going well, and I cannot top that. (They also, to me, look like Sara Gilbert But Make It Fashion.)

Milly Alcock in Givenchy

I cannot believe House of the Dragon beat Severance -- the Globes will always choose chaos somewhere -- and I honestly think Milly and Emma were also shocked as hell. This is your other Givenchy, and it looked very nice up on stage while Milly was covering her mouth with her hands in shock. It was endearing.

Liza Koshy

Perhaps Liza assumed at least four other people would be in sheer dresses too so that this wouldn’t stand out as much, but in fact, this is the only TRULY bonkers one of the night. This is some real afterparty shit right here. Which by the standards of almost all the Globes afterparties of yore — as documented on this very site — is not a compliment.

And, come on. Surely you jest.

Ke Huy Quan

He won first, and even though I'd heard him talk about his story on the red carpet, his speech just really got me. Right off the bat, I was all in my feelings. I'm THRILLED that he won; what an incredibly moving, validating experience for him.

Taron Egerton and Austin Butler

I think Taron is in blue, but whatever. Austin won and he's in black, so he gets to lead this dance. They both look nice and I hope they have a torrid affair (no disrespect to whomever either is dating right now; I just like to assume everyone gets drunk and falls in lust at these things).

Hannah Einbinder in Carolina Herrera

I am sure at least half the Internet made a version of this joke: It looks like she ran to the bathroom and used some toilet paper to create an homage to Brenda and Kelly at the Spring Dance.

I said that if he won, it might be for sentimentality, and I stand by that -- but he did win, for his stewardship and for his movie, and it was hard not to be happy for him about it. Although, even though I know the point he was making, it's a bold move to give a speech that includes talking about how great you are to your PAs. That's the fastest way to get one to sell a story to Us Weekly that's like SPIELBERG VOMITED INTO MY COFFEE or whatever.
