I LOVE Natasha Rothwell's face in the back there, just totally overcome. (Sarah Paulson looks like she is sneaking back from the bathroom, but in reality -- I checked and you can't see this moment on camera -- I think she was returning from backstage, as she presented an award just a few before this, and was trying to slide in unobserved.)

The contrasting orange is so good, and her hair is MAJOR. She is a babe and a force of nature. I would redesign the slit if I had a shot at it, but that's all I've got.

It was lovely to see Zendaya win, too, as she won her first Emmy for Euphoria during Covid -- which was nifty in its own way, as she was in her living room with her family, but I bet it was fun to pair that memory with being in the room where it happens. (Having said that, I am sad for Melanie Lynskey. Some categories were STACKED this year.) This has a real Audrey feel to it. She looks magnificent.

Wearing Sharon Long, Custom
This was created for Elle by the costume designer on The Great, about whom Elle spoke VERY effusively, along with the seamstress Catherine Shaw (I THINK we got her spelling correct). See, this is why it's okay to ask people who they are wearing, and listen to the answer. It matters to a lot of people, these two artists included! I am not wild about the hair, at all, but the dress is SUPER on her.

Meanwhile, my favorite Seattle Grace Gray Sloan Memorial Whatever doctor is showing us the power of the right accessories. These are so good. Her shoes are amazing -- I don't know if you can quite see, but they have a gold heel.

That might be a bit dull, BUT: Juno often comes dressed the way her Ted Lasso character might, and so in that sense it's a nice break. I love all her jewelry.

This reminds me of something Josh O'Connor would wear. He's making flares look, dare I say it, groovy.

Adam, Adam, Adam. I cherish you. And you are brilliant in Severance. Please go buy some socks. There's a super obscure boutique called The Gap that has good deals.

Everything here is in order. Love the lapel pin. Then again, have I ever said, "Boy, I am not feeling that lapel pin"? No.

NoHo Hank was robbed! Ironic, as he is a criminal himself. But he might be one of my most beloved TV characters of all time?

As I noted in the caption, that man second from the left was credited as Jemaine Clement, and I am PRETTY SURE that is not Jemaine unless Covid has really changed him? Everyone else looks fine. I love Harvey Guillen for taking big fashion swings, although the tie veers this a teeeeny bit into "sailor suit" for me.
