THIS CHILD! He is killing it in Thom Browne. This is honestly perfect for a little kid: It's 100% formal, but also fun and whimsical and very stylish! Christina Oh is a producer on Minari and she looks rad.

This was the best shot I had of her standing facing forward, although they're obviously not really posing here. Her suit is, I believe, inspired by a male hanbok suit jacket. It's very cool.

I love Viola and I love her hair and I love her jewelry! Of all the clothes she's worn on the red carpet this awards season, this custom McQueen look is not my favorite, but Heather and I decided that the birds on the bodice were a subtle salute to Bjork, and that is obviously great.

They're a truly gorgeous couple. I think I might have liked to have seen this dress in a color -- maybe a crisp light blue? (I sort of wish she'd worn this to the SAGs and her SAGs dress to the Oscars, although I get that custom McQueen is very major.)

As I said to Heather last night: I love Laura Dern and she looks like she's riding an ostrich in this. FWIW, we called this for Nicole Kidman and I actually think Nic could have carried it off. Laura Dern has such a glorious no-nonsense vibe that this kind of aggressive whimsy feels a little wacky on her. The runway version also seems to have more of a high-low skirt, which I think this needs if you don't want to look like you're, well, riding an ostrich. (On the other hand: none of us have been to a party in AGES, I do get wanting to GO FOR IT.)
