Here's the full outfit, which was shown on the runway with a collar that I honestly... might miss? It's 50-50. In the past Cate might have worn this if it were a slinky, slim cut gown, so the wide-legged jumpsuit is a funky pick from her that I appreciate. But there's something missing here. The usual Cate zest isn't there for me. Is it something as small as needing a deeper lip color?
I also feel like wearing a bunch of fake flowers would get really irritating after a while. I would LOVE IT if she admitted that it's a fresh arrangement that they stapled onto her chest just 5 minutes before showtime.

And actually, the good vibes continue until her waist. I have to give her credit for looking great in this even though those are some DEEP pants pleats, and Roksanda seems to have decided to offset what WOULD be very wide legs with... fancy office supplies?
I was not expecting Roksanda for Office Depot today. Turns out I CAN still be surprised.
