This is VERY Cinderella-y and she looks ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC in it; this might be a personal best for her. She's working with Karla Welch now, and that might be a new partnership. If so, this is kicking it off with a BANG. The necklace is also...delightful. The whole thing is just really good.

This is not super memorable but nor is it bad. I love her and I feel like she deserves something better than "not bad," but I also think this translated better on TV than in still snaps.

This color is great but I wonder if it was sort of weird in person; almost all her photos were taken at this angle, which made me wonder if it was sort of wandering on her. Siriano had a very fruitful Emmys but I do think that sometimes his work ends up feeling slightly unfinished.

We used to see her at Fashion Week fairly often -- she once VERY kindly told me that she wasn't allowed to give interviews -- and this is very pretty on her. Although maybe a tiny bit staid? Great jewelry, though.

Her head looks FANTASTIC; I keep going back and forth on whether or not I wish the top and the pants actually matched. The idea of a playing on a tailcoat with your shirt is really good; I think I actually wish one of these pieces were a bit more structured?

I regret to inform you that we have reached my least favorite look of the night. Holland looks fine -- she actually might be a little undercooked? She looks like she's dropping Sarah off and is going to meet some friends for dinner -- and Sarah looks like she's got a lead blanket from the dentist as a top. (A friend of mine said it looked like she was wearing a handbag for a shirt.) The skirt is cool; the belt is major. I think you could swing this for the Met but it's kind of too wack for the Emmys. I almost would have liked this with a white button down.
