Lady Gaga's erstwhile stylist -- well, maybe he still works with her, but how would he have time? -- worked mostly in solids this season, as is his wont. I'm curious whether she'll turn to him for anything this awards season; if so, I'll wager it'll be custom, but we should look at this anyway because Maxwell is most definitely in the red carpet conversation. Viola Davis loves him, and I believe it is a truth universally accepted that Viola Davis is central to all good conversations.
