I know it's not necessarily the event for it, but I kinda yearn for her to wear this with BIG feathered hair.
Venus Williams in Prada
Venus looks FAB in this pink. I love her so much.

Lizzo has really been leaning into bringing back the very slender 90s brow, although this dress is really more a tribute to fuller arches.
Katy Perry in Coperni

Olivia Wilde in Galvan

She is REALLY into the peekaboo surprises right now. This one is at least better than the first?

It's nice to see some vintage here, and some pin stripes, but none of this feels that assertive to me.
Margot Robbie in Rick Owens

Rick Owens is SUCH an intriguing choice for her, and yet she picked one of the only straightforward Rick Owens dresses in existence. At least she styled it well -- the matching cuffs work.
Glenn Close in Armani

Love Glenn, hate this satin sacksuit.

Her Star Wars movie is supposedly still in development. I hope she's not in Director Jail just because DC Comics is bad at movies. Wonder Woman 1984 was bad but plenty of dudes make bad sequels and it has NO impact on their careers. So that Star Wars movie had better be happening.
Charlie Puth, Brooke Sansone

The reason that style of suit is so tricky for me is that it takes VERY little for it to veer into shlubby. And it does here for me.
Dr. Carl June

Dr. June won for, and this is an oversimplification I'm sure, his work in T-cell immunotherapy for cancer patients. I don't have pics of all the honorees, sadly.
Dr. Sabine Hadida (R)

They won for mathematics, Hannah for "advances in Brill-Noether theory and the geometry of the moduli space of curves" and Laura for "advancing our understanding of random hyperbolic surfaces of large genus," and there is a reason I stopped math after AP Calc. Wow.
Demis Hassabis and John Jumper

They won for "developing a deep learning AI method that rapidly and accurately predicts the three-dimensional structure of proteins from their amino acid sequence." I don't understand why these trophies look like gigantic versions of the metallic whisk orbs that they sell in blender bottles.
Sia Godika

She won the junior prize -- which her brother ALSO won in 2018! -- for her work in regenerative medicine and cellular reprogramming. THE CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE.
