Yerin Ha in Prada, and Luke Thompson
I'm very excited to see how these two play this Cinderella story. Yerin is gorgeous but her gown is a bit generic. I would've loved to see her in a great pattern or something with texture -- a gown that really centers her as the star.
Victor Alli and Hannah Dodd
The Bridgerton fanbase is currently the MOST apprehensive about where this story is going, and I am very nervous for all these actors that they will bear the brunt of any fan negativity about it. Hannah is achingly pretty, but this dress looks like a fitting gone horribly wrong.
Claudia Jessie, Florence Hunt, and Will Tilston
Hyacinth, in the middle, looks lovely. I am not sure I can ever see Gregory as anything other than a little kid, although at this rate he has like eight years before we get to his love story. And on that tip, Claudia Jessie will REALLY want them to get to Eloise soon because she's 36 playing, like, 22, and that's going to get VERY old.
Golda Roshuevel
This is so dramatic on her -- truly, she is the Sylvie Grateau of Bridgerton, forever the queen of style -- and we DO often worry people aren't seasonally appropriate, so at least she's definitely warm. But I can't figure out how she can walk without tripping all over that dribbling train.
Martins Imhangbe and Emma Naomi
They remain one of the MOST beautiful pairings on the show. I hope they stick around; they're almost entirely an invention of the show, at least from what I can recall, and their plots haven't been THAT interesting but there's time to change that. We cannot keep losing hot people!
Ruth Gemmell and Daniel Francis
The fact that they're posing together tells me -- I HOPE -- that Lady Danbury's brother might finally be romancing Mrs. Bridgerton. That is ALSO an invention of the show and I'm not mad about it. They BOTH look dishy.
Michelle Mao, Katie Leung and Isabella Wei
You might recognize Katie as Cho Chang from the Potterverse. These ladies all look glamorous; this must be so exciting for them. Would you like to feel old? Katie is the EVIL STEPMOTHER here. (She's only 38.)

Masali is John's cousin Michaela, who was Michael in the book. I don't know how much she's in this one, but she's lovely and I hope the Internet is not awful to her.

THIS is what I wish Yerin had gotten to wear. WOW. I don't mean that to say Shonda shouldn't be in it; she IS the reason for all the seasons, as they say. But the gown is special.

It's not that people dressed thematically, but somehow the plaid pink Vivienne Westwood aesthetic manages to feel jarring.

Wow, she has the hardest working team in the business right now. That gown is nearly fantastic; I have notes on the bodice, and they begin with the fit.
