Kate and Meghan

"We're going to take these boys down in the annual after-church darts tournament, right?" "Damn straight."

Anne and Kate and Wills

My favorite part of this photo is that it looks like William is checking the wire that Anne has placed in his scarf to make sure they catch the villain she is chasing this blessed holiday season.

Kate and Meghan

These two were VERY chatty the whole walk, so it seems like everyone is getting along very well this Christmas (or is at least getting along well enough to be able to convincingly pretend to be getting along, which is all anyone can really do anyway [I, for the record, think these two are fine and if anyone is a grouchy grumpus it's the boys]). Let's put aside the gossip for a wee and do some fashion credits: Kate is in a red version of her very familiar green Catherine Walker coat (both seem very festive), and Meghan is in Victoria Beckham from nearly top to toe: Coat is by Posh, dress is also by Posh,  (both of which are very sleek and chic; you can see the dress better if you click through [it's also on sale]) and shoes are by Posh (also on sale), and bag is also by Posh. (I feel like Meghan popped into Victoria Beckham and was like, "ugh, I'm tired, let's do this all here.") (Also, MERRY CHRISTMAS VICTORIA BECKHAM, my goodness.)

Meghan and Harry

It's a very navy blue Christmas for the Sussexes.

Harry and Meghan

I LOVE Meghan's boots, I have to say. They're going to look so cute with jeans on casual days. I also, FWIW, like this coat a lot, and that is because I basically own a version of it myself. (I call it my Javert coat, because, well, I feel like I look like a grumpy BUT CHIC member of 19th century French law enforcement wearing it.)

Wills and Kate

Everyone was VERY chatty with the people along the route, too -- especially Meghan and Kate, judging from the videos I saw on Twitter.

Kate in Catherine Walker

I LOVE this coat. I love the green version, but I might prefer the red version?

The Back of Kate's Head

Kate is adding to her prodigious headband collection.

The Back of Meghan's Head

We always love to look at the back of everyone's head! I love a low knot at the back of the neck, myself.

Sophie Wessex

This is very glam on Sophie!

Prince Edward and Lady Louise

Lady Louise! She looks so grown-up in her winter white coat and that smashing hat.

Autumn Phillips, Princess Beatrice

The lining of Autumn's coat!

Princess Eugenie, Jack Brooksbank

Aw! Our newest set of newlyweds are carrying the banner of hand-holding with great elan. (I love Euj's coat AND I like her leather headband situation.)

Autumn and Peter Phillips

I like to think that Autumn texted Kate in like September and was like, "I'M WEARING MY GREEN COAT TO CHRISTMAS SO YOU BETTER NOT WEAR THAT GREEN CATHERINE WALKER ONE YOU HAVE, KATE. KATE, I'M SERIOUS." (In my mind,  Autumn texts in all caps.)

Zara and Mike Tindall

I do not understand this hat and this coat together on Zara, exactly, but Mike looks very dapper in that three-piece suit.

Princess Anne

This coat is actually really kinda great?

Queen Elizabeth

God save! (And god save her feather chapeau.)

Behold! The Traditional British Royal Walk to Church on Christmas!

Cozy royal coat time!
