![Image shows Sinéad Burke, a white, queer little person, on the cover of British Vogue. Sinéad’s brown bob has been curled into soft waves that are blowing gently in the wind. With both of her hands resting on her hips, she stands against a white backdrop, wearing a white shirt dress with a black belt by Alexander McQueen, and her own black, pointy pumps by Ferragamo. Above her head, a white Vogue logo in big letters. The cover also reads ‘Reframing Fashion: Dynamic, Daring & Disabled.’](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/04/ONLINE-Sinead-Burke-cover-1682025935.jpg)

That outfit is great. There are a LOT of shadows at play in these photographs, and I'm not always sure they work in the subjects' favor; I kind of wish she popped a bit more here.

## Sinead Burke in Richard Quinn

![Image shows Sinéad Burke, a white, queer little person, standing in a room in front of a grey, textured wall. With her brown bob curled into soft waves, she is twirling in a black, full length Richard Quinn dress with a pleated skirt and a yellow and green floral print. The dress has a matching cape that is floating out around Sinéad’s shoulders as she moves. She is wearing her own oxblood shoes by Ferragamo.](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/04/ONLINE-Sinead-Burke-1682026069.jpg)

I didn't include second shots of all the cover subjects, but I did Sinead's because I like the dress so much, and I wonder if this outfit in the other photo setup would have been a more striking cover?

## Aaron Rose Philip in Del Core

![Image shows Aaron Rose Philip, a Black Transgender power wheelchair user with black braids in a ponytail, on the cover of British Vogue. Aaron Rose is positioned against a grey, textured background, wearing a long black silky dress with a halter- neck by Del Core, with black ballerina pumps by Miu Miu and jewellery by Alexander McQueen and Hermès. Behind her head, a black Vogue logo in big letters. The cover also reads ‘Reframing Fashion: Dynamic, Daring & Disabled.’](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/04/ONLINE-Aaron-Rose-Philip-cover-1682025947.jpg)

Aaron Rose is "the first black, transgender, and physically disabled model to ever be represented by a major modeling agency," and also the first to do a major catwalk in a wheelchair ([Moschino, Spring/Summer 2022](https://www.gofugyourself.com/photos/moschino-ss-2022/moschino-po-s22-025-1631723709?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)). She looks so fluid in this dress -- it all feels very relaxed.

## Ellie Goldstein in Gucci

![Image shows Ellie Goldstein, a white woman with Down syndrome, on the cover of British Vogue. It is a close up of her upper torso, with her long, glossy black hair cascading softly down her shoulders. Ellie is wearing red lipstick and smiles brightly into the camera. She is wearing a red and white diagonally striped dress by Gucci. Above her head, a white Vogue logo in big letters. The cover also reads ‘Reframing Fashion: Dynamic, Daring & Disabled.’](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/04/ONLINE-Ellie-Goldstein-cover-1682025900.jpg)

Ellie is the first model with a disability to represent Gucci, and as such she's in Gucci on this cover. What a gorgeous shot of her. It's warm and inviting and stunning.

## Justina Miles in Bottega Veneta

![Image shows Justina Miles, a Black Deaf woman with shoulder-length brown, curly hair, on the cover of British Vogue. She is sitting on a white chair against a black and white background, with her legs crossed and one arm resting on the back of the chair. She is wearing a strapless red dress with 3D flower details and a white pleated trim at the bottom by Bottega Veneta. The look is accessorised with black, pointy stiletto heels with an ankle strap by Christian Louboutin, earrings by Missoma and a necklace by By Pariah. Above her head, a black Vogue logo in big letters. The cover also reads ‘Reframing Fashion: Dynamic, Daring & Disabled.’](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/04/ONLINE-Justina-Miles-cover-1682025912.jpg)

If you watched [Rihanna's Super Bowl halftime show](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/rihanna-obviously-led-the-parade-of-celebs-at-the-super-bowl-02-2023/), you might recall Justina, who was the first Deaf woman to perform ASL at the Super Bowl. I love that they put here here in the same color scheme. I am not sure about the plastic lawn chair.

## Selma Blair in Valentino

![Image shows Selma Blair, a white woman with short, blonde hair, on the cover of British Vogue. She is standing against a beige background with her face tilted slightly to the right. In her right hand, she holds a black cane with a silver top. She is wearing a long nude dress by Valentino with cut-outs at the waist and a floor-length cape. The look is complete with matching pointed shoes, also by Valentino. Behind her head, a white Vogue logo in big letters. The cover also reads ‘Reframing Fashion: Dynamic, Daring & Disabled.’](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/04/ONLINE-Selma-Blair-cover-1682025924.jpg)

This one is interesting, because her outfit matches the backdrop, so it makes the cane jump out at you. Selma Blair can really hold a camera lens, though.

## Musa Motha in Carhartt (jacket) and Saul Nash (track bottoms)

![Image shows Musa Motha, a Black male amputee with short black hair in a fade, in a room against a grey, textured backdrop. He is balancing with his left hand on an orange cane, his right arm and his right leg both stretched high in the air to his right. Musa is wearing a black jacket by Carhartt WIP over a white Sunspel T-shirt and white tracksuit bottoms by Saul Nash, with a black Dr. Martens boot and a necklace by Tom Wood.](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/04/ONLINE-Musa-Motha-1682026128.jpg)

This photo is PHENOMENAL. Musa had a soccer injury at age 10 that revealed existing osteosarcoma, which led to an amputation. He's now a dancer. I'm sure you can find loads of him online, but [this CNN piece about him had a cool video](https://www.cnn.com/style/article/musa-motha-amputee-dancer-south-africa-spc-intl/index.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). Cannot say enough how much I love this photo.

## Dr. Rosaleen McDonough in Michael Kors

![Image shows Dr. Rosaleen McDonagh, a white woman wheelchair user with dark hair in an elegant updo. The beauty look is finished off with red lipstick. She is positioned to the side in front of a grey, textured wall, wearing a red silk long dress by Michael Kors, patterned nude tights, with earrings by Agmes, and a pair of glasses with bright pink frames. The look is complete with white boots, her own. She is smiling brightly into the camera, and a green floral display is just visible in the right of the frame.](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/04/ONLINE-Dr-Rosaleen-McDonagh-1682026058.jpg)

Rosaleen is an activist, playwright, Ph.D., and member of the [Irish Traveller](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irish%5FTravellers?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) community. I am into her caftan, and the badass white boots.

## Trifle Studio. Back row: Andre Williams, Stanley Galton, Nancy Clayton; front row Lisa Trim, Ntiense Eno-Amooquaye, Christian Ovonlen

![Image shows six members of the multidisciplinary, London-based design collective Trifle Studio against a textured, grey backdrop. To the left of the back row stands Andre Williams, a Black male with a buzz cut and glasses, with his left hand resting on a wooden easel. He is wearing a white polo shirt from Sunspel with black trousers. Next to Andre stands Stanley Galton, a white male with short brown hair and a beard, who is leaning with his right arm resting on the easel, wearing a striped black and white T-shirt by Comme des Garçons and black trousers by Hermès. Next to Stanley in the back row stands Nancy Clayton, a white woman with long, straight dark hair that has been side parted. She is wearing a white short-sleeved shirt by Margaret Howell with black trousers by Alexander McQueen and a ring by Tom Wood. To the left of the front row sits Lisa Trim on the ground, a white woman with a blonde bob and glasses. She is wearing a black shirt by With Nothing Underneath, black Stella McCartney trousers, white Nike trainers and an Hermès bracelet. In the middle of the front row, Ntiense Eno-Amooquaye, a Black woman with short hair and coral-framed glasses, is sitting on a white cube. She is wearing a white striped short sleeved shirt by Auf Augenhoehe with black trousers by Valentino, white Adidas trainers, and jewellery by Sophie Buhai, Rachel Boston and Lylie Jewellery. To her right sits Christian Ovonlen on the ground, a Black male with a buzz cut, wearing a black Givenchy jacket over a white T-shirt by Comme des Garçons with black trousers by CP Company and black Adidas trainers with white stripes.](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/04/ONLINE-Trifle-Studio-1682026081.jpg)

Trifle is a multidisciplinary design studio that employs artists with disabilities. [Here's the website](https://www.triflestudio.com/work?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), which also has [a list of clients](https://www.triflestudio.com/about?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) through whom you might be able to support their work, if you like.

## Nicolas Hamilton in Louis Vuitton

![Image shows Nicolas Hamilton, a Black male with Cerebral Palsy, short black hair and a beard, as he gazes to the ceiling on his right. Nicolas is standing in front of a grey, textured wall, wearing a white Louis Vuitton leather jacket, with a black sweatshirt and white t-shirt by Dior underneath, with black Hermes trousers and black and white Nike trainers.](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/04/ONLINE-Nicolas-Hamilton-1682026104.jpg)

Nicolas is Lewis Hamilton's half-brother, and he is a racecar driver as well; he has cerebral palsy, so uses a modified car. I think he gets lost in this photograph, which is a damn shame.

## Jessikah Inaba in Roland Mouret

![Images shows Jessikah Inaba, a Black, Blind woman with long, straight black hair that is cascading in soft waves down her left shoulder. She is sitting on a stool in a room against a grey, textured backdrop. She is facing to the right with her hands folded in her lap, wearing a cobalt blue mid-length dress by Roland Mouret, with a necklace by Jessie Thomas Jewellery and a ring by Alice Cicolini.](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/04/ONLINE-Jessikah-Inaba-1682026139.jpg)

The Internet tells me she is "the UK's first Black and blind barrister." I wish the photo had not framed her quite this way -- there's so much empty space above her and it cuts her off.

## Fats Timbo in Erdem

![Image shows Fats Timbo, a Black little person with long, brown braids, standing in a room against a grey, textured backdrop. She is wearing a white knee-length shirt dress with long sleeves and laser-cut detail by Erdem. The look is accessorised with black stiletto heels by Jimmy Choo and an ear cuff by Jessie Thomas Jewellery.](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/04/ONLINE-Fats-Timbo-1682026150.jpg)

She is a comedian and author, and I love this dress. [You can read more about her in this BBC piece as well](https://www.bbc.com/news/newsbeat-60075520?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).

## Reuben Selby in Burberry

![Image shows Reuben Selby, a Filipino-British, neurodiverse male with short dark hair that has been dyed at the tips in blonde. He is standing in a garden in front of a blossom tree. He is visible from the waist up, wearing a black trench coat by Burberry over a shirt by John Smedley. He has his right hand in his pocket and is smirking at the camera.](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/04/ONLINE-Reuben-Selby-1682026115.jpg)

Reuben, who is autistic, is a designer and entrepreneur who just founded a talent agency with Maisie Williams -- whom he was dating until about a month and a half ago. That means it's hard to find information about him because it all revolves around her and their relationship, but [I did find a Forbes piece in which he spoke about autism and work, if you want to read more](https://www.forbes.com/sites/drnancydoyle/2021/06/17/get-ready-for-gen-z-in-neurodiversity-collaborative-authentic-intersectional-and-ethical-or-else/?sh=401872b1c3be&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). Not the point, but he is VERY cute.

## Christine Sun Kim in Valentino

![Image shows Christine Sun Kim, an Asian-American Deaf woman with a bob – the top part is centre parted and black, while the bottom half has been coloured in blonde. Her left hand leaning on a table, her chin rests in her left palm, while the right arm is hugging across the body, holding onto her left elbow. Christine is wearing red lipstick and a bright yellow blazer by Valentino with feather details. A vase of dried flowers on the table is partly visible in the frame on the right.](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/04/ONLINE-Christine-Sun-Kim-1682026161.jpg)

Christine is a Berlin-based American sound artist who, per Vogue, "uses art to deconstruct the politics of noise, translating to the viewer how it feels to be excluded from the hearing majority." Hers and Reuben's feel so different; I wonder if they had to do different locations, or days, or something? This is bright but also intimate.

## Rosie Jones in Patou

![Image shows Rosie Jones, a white, queer woman with long, brown hair in soft curls that are blowing gently in the wind. The image depicts her head and shoulders in a close up portrait. She is smiling brightly into the camera with red lipstick, wearing a black blazer with gold buttons by Patou and sculptural gold earrings by By](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2023/04/ONLINE-Rosie-Jones-1682026092.jpg)

Rosie is a comedian and writer with cerebral palsy. Her smile is just infectious -- so rarely in a fashion mag do we see someone beaming like that, but we've had a few in here already.
