That outfit is great. There are a LOT of shadows at play in these photographs, and I'm not always sure they work in the subjects' favor; I kind of wish she popped a bit more here.

I didn't include second shots of all the cover subjects, but I did Sinead's because I like the dress so much, and I wonder if this outfit in the other photo setup would have been a more striking cover?

Aaron Rose is "the first black, transgender, and physically disabled model to ever be represented by a major modeling agency," and also the first to do a major catwalk in a wheelchair (Moschino, Spring/Summer 2022). She looks so fluid in this dress -- it all feels very relaxed.

Ellie is the first model with a disability to represent Gucci, and as such she's in Gucci on this cover. What a gorgeous shot of her. It's warm and inviting and stunning.

If you watched Rihanna's Super Bowl halftime show, you might recall Justina, who was the first Deaf woman to perform ASL at the Super Bowl. I love that they put here here in the same color scheme. I am not sure about the plastic lawn chair.

This one is interesting, because her outfit matches the backdrop, so it makes the cane jump out at you. Selma Blair can really hold a camera lens, though.

This photo is PHENOMENAL. Musa had a soccer injury at age 10 that revealed existing osteosarcoma, which led to an amputation. He's now a dancer. I'm sure you can find loads of him online, but this CNN piece about him had a cool video. Cannot say enough how much I love this photo.

Rosaleen is an activist, playwright, Ph.D., and member of the Irish Traveller community. I am into her caftan, and the badass white boots.

Trifle is a multidisciplinary design studio that employs artists with disabilities. Here's the website, which also has a list of clients through whom you might be able to support their work, if you like.

Nicolas is Lewis Hamilton's half-brother, and he is a racecar driver as well; he has cerebral palsy, so uses a modified car. I think he gets lost in this photograph, which is a damn shame.

The Internet tells me she is "the UK's first Black and blind barrister." I wish the photo had not framed her quite this way -- there's so much empty space above her and it cuts her off.

She is a comedian and author, and I love this dress. You can read more about her in this BBC piece as well.

Reuben, who is autistic, is a designer and entrepreneur who just founded a talent agency with Maisie Williams -- whom he was dating until about a month and a half ago. That means it's hard to find information about him because it all revolves around her and their relationship, but I did find a Forbes piece in which he spoke about autism and work, if you want to read more. Not the point, but he is VERY cute.

Christine is a Berlin-based American sound artist who, per Vogue, "uses art to deconstruct the politics of noise, translating to the viewer how it feels to be excluded from the hearing majority." Hers and Reuben's feel so different; I wonder if they had to do different locations, or days, or something? This is bright but also intimate.

Rosie is a comedian and writer with cerebral palsy. Her smile is just infectious -- so rarely in a fashion mag do we see someone beaming like that, but we've had a few in here already.
