This outfit is very Britney. In many ways, I feel like Britney, too, has the aura of someone who's been trapped in a mall since 2006, and that's why I feel like it'd be cool if someone updated her aesthetic. Otherwise she looks so unstuck in time.

I am a bit surprised to see Noomi in something that isn't aggressively, wackily cool. The nightie under this is dismal and dishwater-y, as are the shoes, and that is NEVER a word I have ever applied to Noomi Rapace's clothes. I've decided she is itching to take that white lacy coat and style it with some leather pants, but that she feels hamstrung.

This is a great example of a time when I'm not in love with aspects of a dress -- the tube top, the hands jammed into see-through pockets so that her fingers are now a design element (she obligingly made sure at least one of them was stuffed in there the whole time) -- but yet I still think she looks glamorous and gorgeous.

Sofia looks slick, I'll give her that. But people stopped wearing D&G for, what, a year? And now it's flooding back in? Is a year the pre-determined perfunctory punishment period for baked-in, ongoing asshattery? (And yes, I know other companies are also problematic, but D&G seems to be the most proud of its shitty attitudes, whereas the likes of Gucci at least act remorseful and as if they have a desire to do better. And yes, I realize people will get tired of us barking about this stuff, but I'm ALSO still wrestling with whether ANY amount of carping can really be too much when we're talking about a racist dink.
