These sincerely do not read as ears to me, so much as tiny versions of the Ferengi makeup on Star Trek. (a href="https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Quark">Think Quark).

A halter-neck coat is truly... something... that... has been invented.

And it's really only the FRONT. It's like a coat-shield. Or coat-chaps. You can probably tell where this is going, and FYI, you're three slides away.

Many of these are open-backed, but if the back wasn't that interesting, I didn't show it (in the interests of not having this be a HUGE slideshow).

Is this the black cat version of a pussy hat?

And yes, we have arrived at the buttocks. It is hard not to read this as, the designer took over a house famous for trenches but is bored by trenches.

And so we get whatever wackiness this is...

... and then underpants when she turns around.

The front of this coat looked exactly like the other ones. This would MAYBE be entertaining as a way of announcing Burberry was breaking into the intimates business?

Meanwhile the ears continue to perplex me. I understand the desire or need to evolve a brand, but truly, this general direction feels more like burning it down?

As does the decision to put a hot orange-red section right in that exact spot.

Not every dress has a whimsical backside, so we get a break for a minute.

Sincerely, this could be workable.

This looks like she was drinking OJ on the subway when the car came to an abrupt halt.

These are stirrup pants, right? I see they go long under the shoe. We are NOT doing stirrups again, friends.

Rorshach! I see a jowly dog, or maybe, MAYBE, Danger Mouse.

Those legging-pants feel very much like when Lindsay Lohan was designing leggings and hosiery in the aughts.

Sigh. Sometimes, I write something on a caption that I then end up moving into the intro. THIS was the outfit that inspired me to wonder why he doesn't just make his own line and leave Burberry alone.

I MEAN.
