Lupita Nyong'o and Sister
'Wakanda Forever' premiere, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 26 Oct 2022
Lupita has been bringing her sister to a few things lately! First, it was the Wearable Art Gala, where they looked FANTASTIC in coordinated outfits, and now here. I wish I liked Lupita's outfit a bit bettter? It looks like a French braid. I can't imagine how she walked.

She has worn SO much OTT stuff lately that it was a surprise to see her in something so simple. This is SO effective, both as a palate cleanser and just on its own. She's very elegant in it.

This is romantic and pretty. I've liked some of her other outfits better, but I also understand wanting to keep it low-key -- she's symbolically passing the torch, but it would have been too much to come dressed AS the torch.

I like the metallic hit on her shoe, and how it echoes her hair. However, if you think this is just a simple shift...

... it has a LACE-Y SURPRISE. Not to be confused with a lacy surprise, which is often what you'd get in 80s movies when women arrive somewhere in a trenchcoat.

Okay, so it's taupe and white. COUNT IT. He looks super and it's a nice break from his usual standard suit. What if HE shows up as the surprise new Black Panther?!? (I hope it's a woman.)

Emily's styling has shot up into the stratosphere lately. She looks fantastic. [And I'm going to use this to shout out how incredible they both looked at a wedding this weekend. Her dress is to die for there, and he is re-wearing the gorgeous duds from The Eternals premiere. I love that it was the outfit so nice, he wore it twice.]
