Actress Lupita Nyong'o poses for photographers upon arrival at the Chopard Secret party during the 71st international film festival, Cannes, southern France
2018 Chopard Secret Party, Cannes, France - 11 May 2018
This is one of the best things Prada has done in a long time. There are no oppressively ugly boob darts, and the dress makes petite Lupita look really long, which is not mandatory of course but it's always better than stumpifying a person. And it's romantic as hell.

This looks like she bought one of those Infinite Dresses that goes 800 different ways. It's madly unflattering. But it DOES make my eyes come back to the necklace, which is the clear and glorious showpiece.

This is hideously tailored on her - she looks SO square. Again, the necklace is super, but it doesn't HAVE to be surrounded by awfulness.

Is this a dress, or an elaborate bathing sweater?

Sorry, Elsa, but this is VERY limp compared with Lupita's magic.

Is her dress dark green? It's nice enough, and still shockingly covered up for her, but again: JEWELS. (Also, Irina's hair has been looking very gymmy lately.)

Girlfriend, did you think the secret to the party was that they were handing out new dresses? Personally I would've hedged my bets and shown up well and truly dressed already.

She posted a close-up on Instagram that said, "Oops." There is no way she didn't know how see-through this is, and if it had been an actual oops, she wouldn't have gone with a tight shot in which her nipples were the star. Sigh. Why does she have to be so Kardashian about this.
