This is terribly, terribly clunky on her, and... her face has that stiff shiny puffyness to it that suggests she might have stuck a few needles in it recently. Which seems insane to me because Eva Longoria does not need all that nonsense, but... this whole thing is dire, basically. Did they have Chico's stores in the '80s? Because I can only assume that's where she found it. Although even the 80s are like, "Do NOT EVEN drag us into this."
This does little for me, either. When you see the more transparent parts of the train, there's a real beauty to it, but the lined dress -- while a lovely courtesy -- is such a blech color that it suffers from the fact that there is substantially less of the pretty, ornate sparkle on there. What's the point of that? It's not like backing away from the glitz lets a really nice hue shine through. Argh. ARGH, I TELL YOU.
I stuck this in here as a bit of a palate-cleanser, because even though it's baggy in a weird place, the skirt is cool and she looks a lot more like herself. Oh, Eva. Stop producing and go back to being in front of the camera, okay? You were SO FUNNY on Desperate Housewives, and yet Ready For Love was so atrocious and I am SO unclear what to make of Devious Maids... I just want to laugh again.
This is cute too. Maybe she should just do day dresses for a while.
Here's what's unfair: If Solange had worn this, I'd probably be in paroxysms of glee. Then again, if Solange wore it, she'd have added better shoes, better makeup, and some panache, so that is my defense.
That woman holding two phones is hopefully doing so because she can't BELIEVE those pants are an actual real thing, and she wants as much proof as possible.
AND THEN THIS HAPPENED. It's like a rain hitting a puddle at a funeral. It is the tracks of our tears, which are being shed because PANTIES.
