# Cannes Fug or Fab: Blake Lively in Chanel and Giambattista Valli

I will give these Chanel dresses that they are AMAZING for making girls' waists look teeny teeny tiny (although of course it helps that they all already are at least teeny tiny). But here's my feeling on this: I have never felt one way or the other about whether Blake's chest is fake. I don't care. But this dress makes it LOOK super fake. This gives her Barbie proportions in a way that I find distracting and a little insane, and so I can't really look at the dress itself.

But, she spent all night with her hands jammed in the damn pockets and having to juggle the stole without anyone stepping on it, and it made for some really awkward posture.

From above it photographs nicely. And also almost as a different color.

I find this to be a fascinating view of how it all holds together.

I really like this hair and makeup, though. Her hair is SUCH a strength. She can pull off "windblown" and have it look so enviable.

That dress would be SO BEAUTIFUL if there were four inches or so more of it. As it is, this looks like she sat in something and/or had to make herself a last-second modesty shield out of the matching car floor mats that came with it.
