Chastain looks GREAT here, and her shoes are extremely groovy. It's a perfect photocall look: bright and girly and still fancy, but but not stuffy. Weixler's dress is kind of weird -- it looks like someone made a sugar shirt for her -- but I kind of wish it came all the way down to the waist.
Because shoe close-ups are always worth it.
Her head is basically perfection, and she cuts a lean, mean figure in that blue gown, too. There's something weird about the way the bodice creates shadows under the boobs, though. It's the only thing keeping me from giving it a wholehearted endorsement.
JEWELS.
I enjoy the overhead shots from Cannes. This one is just so you can get a peek at her shoes. I know we are all completists here in Fug Nation.
I actually love this -- it's what I wanted Zoe Saldana's Met Ball dress to be.
I really... do not enjoy this. In theory I don't mind the disparate bits, but together, they do weird things to her body. Don't do weird things to your body, ladies. Like adding a big old beaded tire to your waistline.
I actually might have loved this EXCEPT for the super wonky fit of the top. What happened there? Precision, y'all. It's not just a buzzword.
