This is SUCH the quintessential Cannes gown. Huge, ruffled, attention-grabbing, AMAZING. I don't even know if you could wear it anywhere else -- the Met Gala, if it fit the theme, perhaps, but that's about it.

Cannes is one of those places where I look at this and think, "this almost feels UNDERSTATED," although, empirically, it is not. More than anything, though, I really like her hair like this.

This just makes me laugh. She looks like she's checking to make sure she remembered her wallet. The dress is lovely, actually, but do we think the necklace -- which is gorgeous, and surely worth a fortune -- is fighting with the neckline? DISCUSS.

I mean, this works for her.

This dude, Jean-David Blanc, is Melissa's boyfriend, not some random French man who seemed jovial when she came across him on the red carpet. She JUST had a baby and this is certainly one of her more reasonable looks.

I sort of wish the Boob Straps were a little wider?

You guys. We've already seen this dress, except executed by another designer. BUT WHO? It's driving me bonkers.

This photo is great. "HELLO, CANNES! I AM HERE!"

This seems like 10% Too Much, but we're in Cannes. EVERYTHING in Cannes is 10% too much.

Somewhere, Kim Kardashian is wondering what happened to that top.

Gianna is an actress who hasn't really been in anything major. OTHER THAN THIS DRESS.

This is delightful, and I love the bag. Obviously.

This feels vaguely tapestry-adjacent. Not in a bad way!

I don't hate this. But the top of it DOES look like a butterflied sunglasses case.

Posh, your pants are too long! Or something. SOMETHING is happening with your trousers.

And, finally, this is perfectly lovely from the front, and..

...better from the back.
