Ruth Negga's previous stint at Cannes was in aid of the film Loving, so there WILL be some Joel Edgerton to come. I really thought this was early Prada; I will say that I love the shoes. Bring back crazy shoes!

Everything is reasonable here -- I assume those straps are part of her top and not rouge bra straps -- but I DO wish she had some more outrageous jewels here.

My big takeaway here is that we've been dealing with this kind of sheer situation for a DECADE. I'M TIRED. (I believe this was the premiere of Loving and the previous look was for the afterparty. I appreciate that Ruth was like, "I need to put on some pants.")
